Awesome pics! So here's my thoughts:
Joe Mech - I like it a lot, Nice touch with the handles (I seem to remember another member here making the same looking cockpit as that) The Joe figure is pretty bland looking to me Cobra Mech - Another definate buy! The figure looks to be a great re-use of parts to me InGen Awe Strikers - I love the blue driver's deco (I'm biased because I like blue ) The green driver looks good too. The Awe's are definate buys for me (Again, I'm very biased as I love the Awe Striker mold and have every one made to date) 2010 looks like it's going to make me very broke |

Naw that's an old picture, There's more room in the toy room, that's just a box beside the bed (However, the Mechs are still there, just everything else in the pic has been moved)

CRAP! Just when I thought I was done. I'm gonna have to pick up a mech or 2, and I will likely have some Awe Strikers for sale if anyone is interested as I will probably use the drivers for Firefly customs. Or just rename them Firefly.

Shogi, what is that blue/silver car from in your pic? I had that as a kid, but I have no idea what it's from.
I like the mechs. I have the Sigma 6 one, and it rocks. The weapons on it were awesome as well as the ability to interchange or connect weapons. I don't see that on these releases. The Joe weapons are fine. However, the Cobra grappling arm is a little lame. I don't give a damn about the drivers, since they're going in the mechs and probably won't be removed. Regarding the JP stuff, the AWE Striker must be the most profitable toy ever for Hasbro. They've released that thing so many effing times. However, it still looks good. I would like to see it get a different gun on top, though. If they're going to be making more poseable JP figures, why not finally make some decently poseable dinosaurs? I think if rather poseable (more than 4 points of articulation) dinos were made, they'd sell well. I remember seeing a custom Marvel Legends-style velociraptor someone made, and it was awesome! |

I'm really open to the premise of a mech in the joe line i think it'd go great in a unit with the cycle armor.. but again i just feel these are really weak looking. They don't fit in with the high detail new stuff weve seen, or the higher detail vintage molds. The sculpts just seem really basic bland and boring.
Plus i do not like the arms, they should have better weapons. I really like the drivers, i may get some but end up customizing it.
