I also voted for the 80's. 2000-2007 has seen some great figures but I have to go with the 80's for character selection.
Here are the current results of the poll. 1960's - 33% 1970's - 2% 1980's - 33% 1990's - 9% 2000's - 22%

They now have a new poll up.
What 25th Anniversary product would you like to see most in 2008? Current results: Comic packs - 14% Vehicles - 44% Single carded figures - 35% Battle packs - 7% I voted Single carded figures on this one. Vehicles would be nice but I think Single packs or Battle packs should be the main focus until next summer.

Something else I just noticed is in the bio section when you click on the picture on the file card a window will pop up with the card art. A great idea I hope they do for all the figures going forward.

LOL@the result for the 90's. I'm glad 60's and 80's have the highest votes thus far. 2000 is surprising me. I am very glad to know that comic and battle packs are being given consideration!!!!!!!!!!!!

i grew up on the eighties figures but as an "adult" i like the 2000's are great with cool designs, awesome revamps, spectacular new cobra members and all the new cobra troopers, 2 figures a pack, very highly underrated period, imo. venom vs valor even had came with mcdonald's happy meals, toy aisles were full. i hated both live action movies but hasbro still put out some awesome non-movie toys under the movie banner. earlier, someone asked why i thought that the comic, cartoon, and toys should all be similar / i didn't mean exactly but basically, the same way it was done in 1982. the toys appeared in the sunbow cartoon and most in "MY" canon; the hama comic. i didn't mean make 'em all have the same continuity, i don't want that at all. but if new toys are featured in the cartoon and comic-perhaps, everyone will win. i always saw sunbow cartoons as fun primers to get kids interested in the comic which had the same broad "joes fighting cobra's silly plots" but they DID NOT GO TOGETHER character personality-wise, the comics were for older fans with deaths and blood and arashikage and duke was NOT with scarlett. all i am saying the comic should use both it's older characters but also focus on the modern ones because the current comic isn't selling great, critics are , finally, reviewing the arah comic and it made at least one popular comic site's #2 position of six coolest comics of 2016.

IDW's continuation of Marvel and Hama's classic continuity continues AND is utilizing more modern toys. It outsells Transformers but needs more readers and letter hacks. [email protected] re:postbox:the pit. this canon is more than a fad, let's proove it. |
