I beg to differ. I've been happy to get their stickers especially since the quality is off the hook. Dirt cheap shipping for as many as you want. Plus unlike some places at least they are pre cut. Makes life a whole lot better IMO.
I could understand not wanting to drop the scratch on stickers but you do get an awesome product. Great adhesion and quality print. The customer service is awesome too, at lest it has been for me. Always get a response in 24 - 48 hours. The FLAGG stickers are a little bit much but I would imagine it was a pain to make them. Ruben's stickers are of very high quality and he charges way less. In many cases the original cut of the sticker dont' fit correctly on the vehicle, so I don't mind cutting them myself, although it is time-consuming with an x-acto and ruler. I'm not knocking a sponsor either, but it's nice that there's a cheaper, but still high-quality, alternative (he makes Flagg stickers too for way less). The main advantage Cobra Stickers seems to have right now is variety - I didn't think I'd see Action Force stickers, and the custom stuff they do is nice too.

I don't know if pre-cut is worth the price difference.
Ruben's stickers are of very high quality and he charges way less. In many cases the original cut of the sticker dont' fit correctly on the vehicle, so I don't mind cutting them myself, although it is time-consuming with an x-acto and ruler. I've found that sharp scissors work fine as well. I have been using Ruben's stickers for many years now and love them. I did buy a Cobra Condor set from Cobra Stickers when Ruben ran out of his and they were all right but very pricey. One thing that was dissapointing was that on the long black wing stickers, you could clearly see lines where the printer had laid down the ink. I will say it was nice to have pre-cut, but not worth the extra $. Ruben's prices are probably 40%-50% of what Cobra Stickers charges.

Yeah, I like nice, straight lines so I only use scissors when I need to cut something that's curved.

I have to agree. $100.00 for the flagg sticker is way out of line. J Ruben charges much less and his include the deck stickers. When I saw this massive update I was excited about placing my first order. Then when I saw the prices I said forget it. In many instances they are charging the same amount for the stickers that you could get the vintage vehicle for on E-bay. Im keeping my business with J Ruben.
Until they get more reasonable with prices I dont expect this site to be around much longer. GI JOHN |

If you ever get in touch with the guy and he actually sends you the product. I have never once had issues with cobrastickers selling me thier products and ending them allt he way from Kanada. If this Ruben guy actually had a website to sell his stuff he might I might actually cosnidere him an alternative for cobrastickers. Just the way I see it.

You know I hear a lot of stuff about this guy J. Ruben but I've never ever seen any of his stuff or his work and to tell you the truth I think he a ghost that everyone bought up to make a starting company look stupid but cobrastickers.com brought it out and is doing really well and I like their stuff and yeah some of their prices are a little high but can you blame them. Just look at our economy. Everyone is trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents these days.
SHOW ME SOMETHING J.RUBEN HAS MADE OR IS SELLING AND I'LL BUY WHATEVER HE HAS FROM HIM IF HIS PRICES ARE CHEAPER. |

i agree, lots of people complaining about a quality product at a real cost. we all want the best available at walmart prices which is unrealistic at best.
j.ruben lives (have not hcecked for a pulse lately) i've ordered from him many times. i sincerely approve and admire his product for the quality and cost but you cannot accurately compare his obvious print to order scenario vs. a production run with precut setup, etc. the process's used by each are entirely different thus so are the costs involved. cs, like it's sister sites, is not interested in simple print and cut sheets from a printer business. there are those like j.ruben that already provide that service choice. i've even gone so far as to provide balanced comparisons between the two products which i posted here long ago. personally, i find the flagg sticker price shocking as well but considering the cost a good condition flagg will run, the investment in high quality precut stickers is within reason in comparison to it's value.
