I'm always shocked at how popular Dr Venom and Kwinn are. Scar Face too. I personally love them both, but they're Marvel-only characters from the first year and a half of the run. They both got killed off over 40 years ago now and don't think they ever got any other media attention aside from mentions by Larry Hama in later comics.

With Lenny being only 41 years old, I think these Marvel characters might not be on his radar. Nothing wrong with that, he's just a young kid that will have Snake Eyes v4 at the top of his list rather than some of Larry Hama's original creations. At least Soft/Hard Masters have made it into various cartoons/movies becoming more mainstream.

I've mentioned this before, but when I was in San Diego for Comic Con last year, I asked Lenny if the Oktober Guard were off limits and got a somewhat cryptic answer: "They're not not from Russia. They're from places like Georgia, Germany, and the Czech Republic." He made it sound like characters like Daina, Schrage, and Horror Show can be made while Stormavik and Dragonsky probably cannot. I'm guessing Soviet/Russian iconography would have to be dropped from their uniforms, as well. He and I even talked about folding them into GI Joe, because he said they were always looking for opportunities to make the Joe team more international, and Daina joined the team after the Marvel run (can't remember if it was image or DDP right now), and Lenny said he's a big fan of Horror Show.

I'd like to see the trend continue where foreign Joes get put into Night Force, especially if it gets us even some of the Oktober.

I do not know if I am doing anything close to God's work. I would take making the toy gods happy. I have started buying Transformers blind boxes and would love to not get doubles out of the two I bought yesterday (Optimus and Megatron would be ideal).

I think I will make a post seeing if anyone else has them to trade.

I love that idea. Thinking of OG, I don't want outdated symbols or even brownish, WWII themed uniforms at all.
And looking at Wolf Spider Nightforce could be a great way to introduce these characters with modern design.
