I find it quite odd that Hasbro sent out "your item will ship soon" for the latest Classified Wave and then never updated the UK Pulse store dates from Feb... not that I should be to surprised as they often don't change the dates until after a weekend or until they have actually started to ship things.

It's about time for another round of arctic/sea/environmental figures, but I'd guess we'll get arctic during the next live stream if they're going to do MASS device this year. Might even get sea, since they've included the tube worms. How much it would suck if the Haslab this year was MASS Device Skystriker (meaning every Joe could be a potential pilot figure).

Well why it is so strange is one of two things is going to reasonably happen.
Either they will ship soon, or they won't.

In which case they shouldn't be sending out an e-mail saying they had a revised date that was a month earlier then not actually ship it.

Or (and this is the weird part) why on earth would they ship them out now and not change the date on the store front from Feb.

Unless they are expecting batch deliveries and only had barely enough to cover the pre-orders.

It is to be honest perplexing.

I hope that it is just a weird scheduling glitch that will be resolved this month and if not well the "Official release is only a few weeks away by the old date I guess.

I just had this feeling that it might be another case of Pulse UK screwing the orders up so much that the items go on sale price else where before they even get them in at all.

Which is then likely to lead to lots of people cancelling.

I'd like to second this and throw in a request for Downtown. Those are two figures I can imagine looking really good in Classified.

Maybe old news, but in the alpine review thread people were discussing swapping neck barbells with old stalker and alpine for more height.

Works great.

Just tried the same thing with night force recondo and leatherneck.

Same good resolution- a little more neck/height.

I got my Leatherneck, SAW Viper and Zandar yesterday. Procrastinated to open them as the wife wanted to do some quality time. All three figures were executed brilliantly. They are really hitting their stride with these guys!

Zandar (easily my favorite Dreadnok - rather enjoyed him in the Cobra Commander series) is fantastic looking. To me he seems to have a rather smug expression on his face that says 'I'm gonna enjoy gutting you'! But opening him up today immediately took me back to when I got him as a kid, and my grandfather making a big fuss over the fact that I wanted to buy some punk rocker.

I have 2 Alpines and I used the neck barbells from TF and Regular Dusty. Definite improvements made on all figures. I may use that trick for Leatherneck though, thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for sharing this. I just swapped the neck barbells for my Alpine and TF Dusty and both figures look much better.

We need a proper mortar mold for Downtown though. A mortar can go with so much other stuff though I would assume that it would definitely be in the pipeline.
