Cap it at something like 10% will be produced and offered up for sale on Pulse maybe a month after backers' items were shipped (to cover any QC issues). Keeping that overstock/instock amount small will certainly result in a quick sellout, something Hasbro can stress. This would give latecomers a chance.

My only issue with Haslabs is you have to pay for them all at once. $500 in one week is like half my paycheck, and I already have to mostly live paycheck to paycheck.
Wish they'd let you pay in installments. Had to borrow money from a friend to back the Cantina. |

Regarding the Divers, shouldn't a 2-pack cost LESS than 2 individual figures?

Producing extra HasLabs to offer up after backers would backfire. Collectors already do not want to pay for their HasLab before they go into production. Knowing that there would be MSRP units available later is just another excuse not to back a HasLab. Of course if everyone thinks that way, then the number of backers drops, the number of fippers buying extra for e-Bay drops, and the demand for extra units on release far exceeds the supply.
I think all the recent HasLabs are readily available on e-Bay if you missed one. They're going to cost you more than MSRP, but if anyone really wanted one then backing is the best price. There is definitely a rise and then drop, and then rise again, of prices on the secondary market based on demand and regrets. If the overall supply of HasLabs drops, then I think collectors are going to pay more dearly later on. The way the Rattler broke both the HISS and Dragonfly numbers, I expect them to be readily available at darn near close to MSRP. Maybe a year or so after they are released they might go down to just above the msrp But I doubt it I?ve seen dfly?s and hisses both sell for $400 to low $500?s lately including myself who just unloaded an extra hiss I had .. Plus there is literally a new collector every day so someone is always going to say they ?MISSED OUT ? no matter what it is ..

It certainly should have but they like to raise the price for 2 figures instead of passing along the deal they jack you and then give you extra weapons & fodder which is supposed to feel like a good deal .. that equates as lame to me ..

That used to be the point of a two pack or multipack. Now, you're essentially paying the same price or MORE. Which is really bad when many of these packs are mostly repaints or repacks. |

I'm still surprised two packs go for more than two figures when the majority of the time they're repaints, Hasbro got their money out of the mold the first time.
