There's a big part of collecting GI Joe that makes me feel like a kid again (good way), but sometimes fandom can make us forget that we're also adults (bad way).

I love Classified. Its a blast to collect. That being said, how about have things go smoothly? Especially after ramping us up for the upcoming month. They never do. Communicate. Zilch on updates. Yo Joe June always starts promisingly then fizzles out. This is 2nd year in a row. Plus, would we be Joe collectors if we weren't complaining about something? Lol

I have exactly 20 Classified figures. Before the line was officially announced, I made a list of characters I wanted to buy in six inch form, and I've stuck to the list.

There's only a few left. One of them is the Night Viper. It was heavily rumored that we would see the figure or at least a render at some point in June. That's all I'm really waiting for right now.

The fourth repaint of Sgt. Slaughter that I wouldn't even want for free isn't the "news" I was looking forward to.

This isn't exactly fair. First off - no one is 'angry'. Second - they DID bill it as Yo Joe June - and got everyone all hyped up.

It's like your wife goes out for a spa treatment - gets all dolled up - buys new lingerie - watches a spicy movie with you late into the evening - takes a bath before bed - then says, "not tonight - I have a headache".

I've complained about their poor comms since COVID so you definitely got me there. The Legacy Officer thing was out of their control and had no good options (and legal surely scrutinized everything to a painful degree).

But yeah, the comms has always been dreadful. Even when they did say 2025 would have delays, they said it precisely once and with no additional detail - then or since.

I'm going to look at the glass half full. Retro Wave 4, HD and Wave 19 all shipping now. We got a bunch of reveals and pre-orders already. The Rattler is probably a month or so away from being in our hands. It's been a great month for Classified and Joe for me.

I'm optimistically hoping Wave 21 will be shown as renders before the month is over and we'll pre-order those at SDCC. It will be one of two scenarios for Wave 21: Renders this month and pre-orders at SDCC, or renders at SDCC and pre-orders at PulseCon like Snake Pants said.

I think the Trench-Viper and Fortification could be shipping soon too. I would think Law & Order would have been soon, but I don't recall hearing they hit the ports yet.

I won't lie, I want to see the Classified team and they were sorely missed last week. They should post a stream still with those pre-order items. I love hearing them talk about the product and hearing BTS stories and antecdotes.

That's not what was said. During the first live stream Emily said we'd "get an update" from them every week. If pretty much anything happens this week, they fulfilled that.

BTW, Hasbro just laid off 150 people. Last time we lost John Warden. A couple layoffs before that we lost Cory Cantelupe. I really hope they left the Classified team the fuck alone this time.
