Shipping is so subjective.

I order these last weekendish. 3 days shipping. But then they did not ship. Not sure if they were waiting because of potential Postal strike today (did not happen, yet). Got notice yesterday they are shipping and arriving today.

One day.

Great pack job too Amazon. Intercom delivered

3 retros (no damage) and a Doc underneath. Would have liked if one of my two eels were black but is what it is.

Was getting a little worried when they did not ship because of potential strike. Not sure, had that strike happened, if it would be better to cancel order or wait.

I am definitely not going to look at how much money I have in Classified preorders right now. I am not a crazy person, ha.

It's best to be blissfully ignorant and decide if I need these things and am in a financial place to do so as they arrive / present themselves.

I look at my preorder list as a wishlist. Hey, do I want this thing? will I be sad if I miss out on it? If the answer is yes, I preorder.

Then as things get closer to shipping, I decide if I really wanted the thing or not and adjust accordingly. This strategy has worked for me so far and I've only been burned once or twice with getting an extra figure that maybe I didn't need.

Anyways, just got Retro Rock & Roll in. He's pretty great! The eyebrows still kind bug me, but with the helmet on, it's less noticeable for sure. I am also still loving the shooting glasses on him from Leatherneck. Seems to fit his character perfectly.

I am torn now, because I really do love both versions, and wish I was able to bash some in-between. I like the matte green and paintwork of the retro, but I also like the tattoos and "hang ten" detail of the standard release. The gold bullet belts of the retro are such an improvement over the standard. Sure, a helmet and bullet belt swap would be easy between the two. I just wish I could easily swap the arms to give the retro the tattoos.

Guns are still shitty and warped in my opinion. Definitely less gummy than before, but still not great. I prefer the heavy machine gun that came with Big Ben and NF Shockwave. It seems better at maintaining it's shape than the stock gun.

I wonder if Gi Joe needs a Horse ?

There was a Marine Corp Horse in The Korean War called Sgt. Wreckless who carried munitions, that comes to mind, but also Far Cry 6 (which is pretty Gi Joe like at times) has Horses in it and of course Horses were rather common in the world wars.

Maybe Tiger Force isn't a bad place to put a horse in.. perhaps they could share a Buck with an Indiana Jones toy ?

But such a Horse could also be given to a Legacy Canadian Mounted Policeman too.

Finally received a shipping notification from Hasbro pulse, Regarding Retro Vipers. Supposedly shipped fed-ex.

I swear by Mythic Legions but I do not have a lot to go off either. $100 Canadian for Boreus is awesome and others can speak to their other horses. I believe they are essentially same with some different dress/accessories/paint etc.

I seemed to have Missplaced Glenda, I was wondering if anyone took note of which characters (if any her hair might fit on too) - Like does it fit on Lady Jaye or Shooter or The Marine Corp Sniper for example ?

I had gotten a notice from Pulse that retro Rock n Roll was shipping soon. Canceled him. And just got a notice retro Vipers have shipped from Pulse. I don't think they gave me notice of the Vipers shipping soon. They just shipped. Seems Pulse is kind of random with their heads up about orders fulfilling soon.
