I haven't built the set yet, but managed to open these two mini figures.

This is my first experience with Mega figures. They're pretty fun! Might pick up a few MOTU figures now. The Snake Mountain set is on sale for 50% off. $160 for a set that big is a steal.

I like these but mega was dropped from most places in my area and the ones I did get were hellish to build. instructions on the game of throne wall were confusing as hell, with tiny parts you had to mainly guess where they went and incorrect diagrams.

That said I'm also at a display crossroads and adding yet another line to collect is a dicey subject if its still there after Christmas I might bite the bullet but currently I'm saying no

I just got around to building the Skystriker and I have two of the triangle shaped bricks on the top that are a much different shade of white than the rest of the jet. Has anyone else ran into that issue?

Yup, exact same issue here - Mega's not known for the same color QA that Lego does, and even Lego's QA fails here from time to time. I think both ours are from a particularly rough batch, but here's one of the best Lego reviewers, who also has quite a bit of Mega/Mega Contsrux content - check out his review; part quality around the 9 minute mark:

I'm sorry, but this HISS is fucking adorable. Plus it's way better/more accurate than the KRE-O one (even though it scales on the small side, but that adds to the cuteness factor).
