I finally opened mine. How do you all intend to display/store these? The way the are in the box has the spines in the air, which means the pages are susceptible to gravity. I fear that they will eventually start pulling away from the spine. I am loath to have them standing traditionally on a shelf for the same reason. Does anyone have any thoughts regarding this?
I have not checked what I got against what was promised, but I think I got two of the same card. |

As for storage/display, I will probably stack mine in my reading nook in my bedroom. So nothing fancy but they will be easy for me to get to when I feel like reading them. That is a good point about how they are stored in the box with the spines up. Mine are arriving today after a two-day delay from when they were originally supposed to be delivered. I don't think I will get much time over the next few days to look at them.

When stored spine-up in the box, there IS a thin foam pad for each volume in the bottom of the box that I think supports the pages from sagging. Or it may be to help keep them spaced. I'm at work and can't check.

Was flipping through Compendium 1 and there seem to be a few pages missing from Issue #1.
They included the cut-away of the PIT and the MOBAT, but I clearly remember these pin-ups of Flash, Scarlett, Breaker, and Stalker. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My original #1 is in quite a sad state after 40+ years of reading and I don't think I still have all the pages (in fact it came without the cover in a gift bag). I could swear there was a similar pin-up for the HAL and VAMP at some point, but maybe not in #1. Anyone know where this art is located within the Compendium? I checked Yearbook #1 at it is not there either. I thought they may have used these pages as filler between issues to get the 2-page spreads properly sequenced, but those blank pages are just generic stars. |

Mine just arrived and I just opened them up and I do see that foam in the bottom of the box. That should keep things look good! I guess I will keep mine in the box. Everything looks GREAT!

Vol. 2 ends with most of the contents of Yearbook #1 (aside from the reprint of "Operation Lady Doomsday") - *after* the other three Yearbooks. And Vol. 3 ends with some misc. character pinups originally printed in issue #152, the main story for which doesn't appear until much later in Vol. 4. I've updated my review of the Compendium Set to notate the location of these pages.
