Yeah my wallet will take a beating for sure with Iron Grenadiers. For them I am breaking my rule of four a time for troop builders and getting like 10 of them bastards. I'm not playing games with missing them or paying double on ePay.
Year in review: it's been an amazing ride overall. The team really knocked it out of the park with the HISS tank. |

I hear ya on IG troop building...I'm gonna limit myself to 4 regulars in all likelihood since I favor making Cobra bigger/badder, but your approach was my own for the Alley Viper, and will be again for the Night Viper. Wish I could do the same for regular Cobra troopers/infantry...& if Hasbro is reading take note please, since the re-release concept was reinforced above!

I expect 2024 to be just as good as 2023 was for Joe. I believe we are in the midst of Classified's peak years now (beginning with 2022) and hope that peak period lasts a good 3-5 years, and there's no reason to think it can't.

Super7's fate is in their hands with O-Ring. It can be amazing or it can be...just okay. Personally, I'm curious about figure build and vehicle design - will it have the same look and feel as classic O-Ring or not? There's no doubt they're going to do deep cuts (all my jokes about an O-Ring Honda Lou West no longer seem so absurd) - but will the figures and vehicles fit right in with our existing collections or not? That's my million-dollar question.

Vehicles "should" work but we won't know that until S7 actually releases their first batch of them. Probably not until 2025 since first o-ring wave comes out in October 2024.

Good article. I agree with everything said. Im worried the line can?t carry more than two vehicles though.
Iron grenadiers are going to break my wallet. Plus March madness might be weird because there will be more duplicates |

I?m hoping Super7 and these small Kickstarters really kick start a renewed interest in vintage o-ring. I know that sounds stupid and obvious but since Classified turned so many 4? fans into 6? fans, I feel like the 82-94 Hauls thread has slowed down a lot. I?d love to see folks selling their 6? and diving back into 4?/3.75? head first. Would Love to see the 82-94 Hauls thread with 20+ posts a day. Yo Joe!

This is a great time to be a G.I. Joe fan, regardless of scale or preferred company. Having seen how Marvel and Star Wars went overboard with shows, I'd rather the comics branch out with strong talent and intelligent planning for one year before a cartoon or show launches and then try to keep them connected.
Glad to see Flash in the context of a G.I. Joe article too. |

That might be in the eye of the beholder. For example, I have no problem putting ReAction figures with my ARAH figures and think they look just fine next to each other. Others will absolutely frown on the thought of that.
