Classified is big competition for this line and I have to say I never thought Silverhawks and Thundercats will have more life with the fans for their toy lines... Classified is a big competition and take almost the whole pie of the collectors community...

Thank you. An interesting list! It's a shame to see 1A Baroness and Doc ranking so low but it's hard to disagree that figures like Duke and CC should be ranked so high. Doc and the Trooper are on their way to me this week. Still considering Major Bludd, Roadblock, and Zartan.

My perspective is that the timing hurt S7 because they are competing against Hasbro's Classified line - and - Sunbow wasn't *that* much of a departure from the original toys. If Ultimates was the only opportunity for G.I. Joe toys, their sales would be a different story. It's a great time to be a fan of the franchise but a hard time for all these companies to excel more than the other and (always) against Hasbro.

To be fair, other than Flint and Lady Jaye, I've loved all the figures from this line, so it's really close from 20 to 1.

That's when these lists become the most fun. I'd say they've had more hits than misses based on most responses in this thread.

I finally got around to doing photos of the Conan the Barbarian Battle of the Mounds wave. Here's Valeria!

Valeria looks really good. I'll keep my Mounds jokes to myself. She almost seems *too* realistic to fit in w/ other Ultimates lines.


Edit: Opened up Doc and the Cobra Trooper. Both look much nicer in-hand than in photos, I think. Tugged to hard on Doc's satchel and the strap tore (in the packaging) but that's the only frustration ... other than maybe way too many spare hands for the Trooper. I did notice that the trooper helmet sits somewhat crooked, so one ear is somewhat visible. Kinda surprised it wasn't molded onto the head. Nice figures, especially for the sales price.

Here's Subotai! I think he's the best figure of the wave. Super 7 really needs to make a Battle of the Mounds Rexor and Thorgrim. And an Akiro would be great, too... with the trash can lid on his head. lol

This Conan wave looks good man. I need to buy the whole wave... I want to hear that battle of the mounts joke...

Thulsa Doom! Another great figure, but his bulkiness gets in the way of articulation. I couldn't get him into a bow-shooting pose, like I did with Subotai. Plus, they didn't give him a proper hand for holding the snake/arrow, like they did for Subotai. They also glued the sun symbol on his helmet a little off-center.

Conan the Cimmerian! Wonky eye paint aside, he's a great figure!
