I got my HMS yesterday, and after having it for a day, I'm just not feeling it. It is big and looks cool. But there just isn't much to it. You can plug in the rocket trail effects pieces into the back of the missiles, but you have to do it backwards with the cloudy part coming out of the missile. But then there is nothing to plug the other end into so it just seems pointless to even have a hole in the back of the missiles.
The Techo Viper is the highlight of the set and even that is just ok. The colors look cool but don't exactly match the HISS Fire Team so he fits in, but still looks a little off from the rest of the team. The res is a slightly brighter shade and I think he should have been black with gray highlights and not the other way around. With the Vamp or the HISS even, I felt like the value was there. Even the Trouble Bubnle or the Ram at $55 feel like better value than what you are getting here. The Ferret seems like a steel at that price, especially in comparison to the HMS. It is big but that's really all it has going for it. If you haven't ordered one yet I would recommend waiting for it to hit the outlet before pulling the trigger. And this is the first time in the classified line I can say that about anything. I dont think its that bad and i ordered 2 of em , sure its a big hunk of black plastic w/red missiles and its boring and it just sits there behind the hiss , its a set piece and thats it .. i do wish it had like a control module or something that plugs into it so it looks like its being controlled but its okay , im happy with my purchases ?

Things like the HMS are just companion pieces. I decided to cancel mine since it really doesn't seem worth the price and I don't feel it's needed in a HISS display. If it's still around during the June sale I may snag one at 35% off (if they include it).

Honestly I'm just gonna set up the techno viper with one of the controllers from a spare Scrap Iron: Honestly, though, the HMS kinda solidifies my thoughts that they should make the towables a bit more autonomous. Like if the HMS wasn't a towable and had 4 wheels wore treads like Scrap Iron's drone, I think it'd be more interesting than being a diorama piece.

I would do that price too. Can flip the Techno Viper for $25 and get the HMS for $25 after that.

You are gonna see that MMS on the hasbropulse outlet before you know it. You have to make those exclusives really count or people won't buy them. I am not a fan of set pieces over small vehicles. A smaller vehicle is always the better choice.

In regards to Emily:
The neckbeards need to get a life and stop harrassing Hasbro employees and blaming them for things outside their control. This is the best toyline in the world right now and its thanks to all those people. It's the first time I run into a team that listens to the fans. The Marvel legends people are following suit and now giving the fans what they want after that line almost collapsed on them last year. The classified team course corrected and quickly became the powerhouse hasbro brand, even without media backing it. |

I agree that it is expensive for what it is but I really like having a set piece. He'll, everything in my display is a set piece...I get things out of the box and on display and don't move it from there.

It does have the compute module on the side.

I am doing the same thing had an extra scrap iron i picked up for cheap .. the console/panel on the hms is kinda meh it should have had something like the arah scrap iron had with his little wired control device but it is what it is , im okay w/my purchase ..
I also agree automatons are the way to go pac rat style is what im looking for ? I think it's also more apparent with the MMS or HMS because missiles are just kinda static looking when on a vehicle.
