While I wound up HATING Snake-Eyes due to the OG Hama comics, he's the most recognizable Joe and still sells.
IMHO Cobra Commander and Snake-Eyes should be available as much as possible. I totally wouldn't be opposed to going into Target and seeing a peg full of Snake-Eyes and one of CC like I do Vader and Mando. They sell. Although I will also say - it might depend on WHICH version is released. Like when you see Marvel Legends, you can find Rogue cheap. BUT try to find a Jim Lee/'92 style Rogue? Nope, sell like hotcakes. So maybe in that case Snake-Eyes V2 and "Retro" CC might be a good idea to release in solid case packs maybe once a year.

Sure it "makes sense". But, during the time when Drax appeared in that form he was around Warlock and the Infinity Watch way more. Besides that, Warlock would have actually helped sell that Exclusive set. Instead they gave the majority of the tooling budget to do a pinless Moondragon that no one seemed to care about. Sometimes I think the ML team hates money.

I remember the CC that came in the Flint/Jaye wave warming pretty hard, for quite a while, with the other two - though he sold better than they did. Likely due to overproduction (compensating for the smaller run of the Blackout wave?), but he still stuck around for quite a bit.
While it can lead to pegwarming, let's face it - it's also a barrier to entry when you can't get the main characters. Will Mando and Vader possibly pile up? Could be. But that's not the worst thing if a main desirable character is sitting there to grab at any time. Just like you can find Batman and Joker in various forms quite a bit. It's still Batman and Joker, and odds are them being on the shelf or just available helps sell other figures in the line. Like when I look at the NECA TMNT stuff. Does alot of it pegwarm because it's nobody minor characters or because you can't find the actual Turtles and Shredder to go with them? |

Over all I decided the one I like most is the one in the green pants and to be honest it would have to be a very different type to capture my interest.. perhaps a Snow themed one would. But judging by my behavior so it seem like ol' Snake Eyes is labeled "wait for a sale" with me. Quote:
Overall I can say that I feel more about him that say Barbeque or Shipwreck or Bazooka. So there is that I guess and I you pushed me I'd say I prefer him to Duke too. But that is more because I am apathetic to Duke than any particular gloss on Snake Eyes. Quote:
I don't believe in having a Snake Eyes per wave but there should at least be two of them each year. And I hope they don't keep doing the repaints and just give us all those original versions already. 1-5 and give us civilian version with burned alternate face. And LRRP 3 pack with stalker and stormshadow. I would even take the 6 pack of the entire unit.

The argument for me for making a new Snake Eyes is more to do with adding new interesting accessories like the fighting sticks or different knives or a different sword or making him on a body that is pinless. Snake Eyes for the sake of it, is Just Snake Eyes for the sake of it... if they want to they can always re-release him if they want.. I'm sure there are a few older figures people would welcome a reissue of such as the Cobra Trooper for one & if they did that with him I wouldn't mind, but some might moan about the pinned limbs of the "wrong boots" as they do. ------------- As for the Pet Line.. Spearhead and Max is essential. |

But again, that wasn't exactly a desired look for CC. Like how muddy Mando pegwarmed a bit in Target.

Does alot of it pegwarm because it's nobody minor characters or because you can't find the actual Turtles and Shredder to go with them? While I don't disagree that Hasbro should revisit characters (preferably via color variants/subteams and/or new or Retro versions), re-releases will prevent new releases from hitting shelves when they warm. Think about how many waves ended up in discount stores because of the back-to-back issues with the Flint/Jaye/CC wave and SE: Origins waves that clogged retail. The last thing Classified needs is stale wave after stale wave. New characters (or more specifically characters they haven't gotten to yet) are just as key to keep the line healthy and moving.

I just want a retro 1985 snake eyes version. You all know we all want it and I expect it to be revealed soon.
Also, I want all the versions and even a freaking Tiger Force version on the 1985 buck. |

Is anyone else slightly bothered by the very shallow tread on the Ferret? I've seen people nitpick about other things but the tread is the only thing that looks off to me.
