Not sure why they had to go down that route. Clutch has a full helmet so why not Boa? They could even have made Big Boa bald if they wanted to make it easier.

The actual helmeted head looks slightly too small to me…so I certainly wouldn’t have minded it being bigger. The separate head isn’t a big deal but it’s something else to store separately.

I was thinking of throwing Boas head on some trooper, but have not decided which one yet. Will have to see who he best fits. For me, Boa is helmeted Boa.

Metal-Head is a clear case of them just redoing a vintage figure, when a slight remake would have been better. The figure itself looks fine but they should have gone with some type of modern RPG or Javelin, with a backpack with an extra rocket, or something like that.

The "hip missile" looks at stupid now as it did in the 80's.

Hard agree it didnt look very good back in the day and not even close now .
I remember my dad seeing fast draw @ childrens palace and saying the exhaust from the rocket would push him down on the ground everytime he fired and who reloads it for him .

Makes me want fast draw even more now ..

Did anyone else?s Pulse order (Airborne, Quick Kick, etc.) stall in Illinois? I got the notifications and tracking that it would deliver by today but I just checked FedEx and it?s still in ?label created? mode. Metal Head shipped separate and is on the way.

Eh, it's fine. Metal Head is nuts so his leg missiles fit that.

I can't help feeling like this Metal Head rocket issue is something Cory Cantelupe would've caught, being the former sculpting manager and all. Of course I don't know that for sure. Just a feeling.

I had probably the dumbest explanation for that when I was a kid. I don't remember where I got the idea from. But I thought it must use compressed air to launch the missiles vertically and then the rocket motor would fire. Thats how I explained away several accessories and vehicles. Although by the 90's I gave up trying to understand how any of it could realistically work.

I think it's because FedEx doesn't unload or pick up trailers on the weekend. It's probably sitting in a trailer docked at the pulse warehouse or fed ex hub. Wait for the work week to get going and it should get moving. Heck I still haven't even had my order for the newest wave fulfilled yet and they charged me for it Wednesday night.
