Sorry, are you asking about the Target part, or the Hasbro part you quoted?
The Target part was heavily reported in a bunch of Transformers sites I visit: https://www.seibertron.com/transform...ncelled/48011/ Basically a bunch of figures that WERE supposed to be exclusives at Target had to be cancelled or released in different ways because Target backed out of the exclusive line. Which sucks, because I REALLY wanted that Hound figure, but the only way to get it now is going to be an expensive 5-pack. The Hasbro part is partially speculation, but they've been heavily reducing their workforce with multiple rounds of layoffs in the past year, they've been selling excess inventory to reduce storage costs (hence all the discount chain stuff lately), and they are constantly going on about reducing costs in earnings reports. They are obviously reducing production of figures (although WHICH figures is not really as obvious). https://finance.yahoo.com/news/hasbr...121519648.html FWIW, I saw a bunch of Hasbro corporate roles in my area/level open up recently (as much as I'd consider it given how much I really dig Providence, I'm pleased where I am currently), so Hasbro is looking to grow despite layoffs. The roles I saw were targeted (no pun) in the NERF and "Action Toy" space (i dunno if that refers to Joe or more wearable/interactive things like NERF), WOTC, and global markets. Just adding add'l context to what you've shared; I think there's less than zero concern in 2024 (or 2025) for GI Joe fans.

I wish that they wouldn't if true, BG3 was in early access for ages made by a developer that's probably the closest thing to what Bioware was 15 years ago. If Larian wants money for another D&D game give it to them but the gaming industry is too volatile at the moment to risk spending tons of money imo.

(i.e., why do we see this in Marvel Legends a ton but not at all in GI Joe?)

I personally still really like the ROC Destro (well minus his pupils):
He feels much more military in this look than many of his other looks. I prefer the puffy pants look to the long jacket look we saw in Resolute (though this look in black could be sweet) and the color layout and just not being new-sculpt pushes this over the v11 look. Probably because Marvel Legends figures don?t include a lot of accessories (and they shouldn?t) and most waves include a couple of repaints or obscure characters. The BAFs themselves are mostly reuse. I ordered the KAZAR wave just to get the sabretooth CAT, which is worth the one or two figures in that wave that I don?t want.

That's budget going away from the figures themselves. I'd rather our figures than the reuse that Marvel Legends gets

If you would have asked me 6 months ago I would have said maybe, eventually. But now that we know Super7 is starting to do them and then the most recent RPG pack now has them featured in it, I honestly think they will happen in Classified since Hasbro is allowing them to be featured with other stuff. Maybe 2025?
I think it could be fun - like a blue SNAKE armor or something like that? I don't think it needs to be the norm, but it might be cool for a wave or two.

The PP trouble bubble has the same issue with the right side of the latch as the normal trouble bubble? Ugh......... if true I'm canceling my order.

I don't think so. Mine haven't had that issue
