SAW-Viper's height doesn't bother me at all. Everyone is a different height in real life, so why should the figures all be the same? I'm looking at SAW-Viper as being a tank of a dude. Not saying everyone should be the same size. I like diversity, tunnel rat being small just makes sense. But a guy depicted in a juggernaut suit has historical been depicted larger or even a guy that carries the gattling gun(again historically depicted larger). That being said I think most people would have assumed he's a larger guy. He's a toy yes and a cool character yes but pretending those things didn't exist in media is a little weird to me. We are all joe fans and nothing comes out perfect and never has but we had to have expected this dude to be huge, right? Like what if Tunnel rat was obnoxiously tall? It's like one of those movies where the bad guy has a name Luke tiny and is actually gigantic but in reverse.

Can knock out and likely to knockout are two different things. My favorite fighter machita got choked out in the weirdest way against opponent John Jones (that would have been otherwise impossible) if the height difference wasn't there. Idk man

I think the height works in his favor, but I won't know for sure until I see it in person. Think about the wrestler Taz from ECW. He's a shorter guy, but it helps him suplex people because he gets low, gets a solid base and dumps people overhead. Same deal here. Shorter, wider guy with a solid base to hold the big ass gun he's carrying around. I also agree with the sentiment that not everyone should be the same size.

I can accept that if that's what he was right. Again, totally cool with different heights but just seems to me the argument against the sizing is more cope than anything that's all.

Looking at that screengrab, wonder if you could paint a Big Boa black and then swap the armor overlays, head, arm and leg padding, etc to make a hulking SAW-Viper. I will have to watch the video review, but I am not sure how much of the base body is really visible.

Edit: I did something similar with Tripwire to make a whole EOD team out of just two figures. Tripwire's gear covers just about everything but the boots.

Oh I'm definitely trying to cope so that I can still enjoy the figure lol. I don't have any connection to it though and I was already on the fence given his colors are a bit outlandish. But the whole line is outlandish. The other 3 in this wave are 100% keepers, this guy I'll wait and see.
