If the HISS CoCo had the vac-metal faceplate and the regular cobra logo, he'd be perfect. Right now, neither one is ideal and that bothers me more than it should.

Let's get this HASLAB put to bed so they can announce the RETRO 1st Appearance Baroness on that mold now. I need bright blue, yellow and green glasses ASAP! I didn't even know I needed this until I saw those design pics Lenny has been sharing on Instagram!

I guess I just mean the package presentation is elite for the Spidey retro line. Like, I feel bad even opening them. I have no guilt opening the Joe retro figures, in fact I throw them away faster than I throw away the boxes from the main line.

Also, I only collect a small amount of Marvel legends and about half of those have been retro cardback figures so I'm very likely biased when it comes to these feelings.

I just don't get the same nostalgia feeling with the Joe retro line. The art is pretty bad compared to the true vintage illustrations.

I mean, what the hell happened here? Why is the art on the right so blown out? What is the explosion not the digital version? Why can't they just use the art to the left as is? Why even remake it at all?

We need a Firebat and a Skyhawk at retail as soon as possible. At Vamp price or slightly above but comparable in size. It's a no brainer.

At least give people a chance to unload their HasLab Baroness (if selling her) before doing a repaint. Retro CC already decreased the value of MMCC.

Hopefully they give her a new head like retro Scarlett and CC. A 100% copy of a HasLab repainted shouldn't happen.

I don't see why the retros don't use the original card art with white borders. If there are slight changes in the deco just photoshop it.

Agreed, I think she will get a new headsculpt and some retro weapons too I hope. And I hate to think she will take as long as the Retro CC did after the HISS HASLAB.

I'm not too surprised they don't use the digital explosion for the retro cards, only because they never did for the 25th/ME line either.

I don't know for sure, but assume why they don't use it is because it may look weird seeing two different types of card backs on retailer pegs simultaneously. I bet retailers may not want one figure with the regular explosion and another with the digital explosion. I know this sounds dumb, but it's probably why they haven't ever done it in the retro lines, like the 25th or Retro Classified. Fear of confusing customers is probably the reasoning from corporate.

I don't agree with it, but I can see why they are avoiding it.
