Circus Fun definitely wasn't since it was General Mills. It was basically like Trix, Coco Puffs or Kix (strictly corn, no oats like CC has) but also had had ring-shaped corn pieces as well as the puffs. And then it had marshmallows (same type as another GM cereal, Lucky Charms) mixed in.

I can't remember exactly what Nintendo cereal was made from or what it was like now.

Speaking of Cap'n Crunch, my go-to snack as a 15-yr-old was a bowl of Cap'n Crunch with the berries (I only ate it for a few months...couldn't handle the scraping), but I'd line the bowl with cool whip before dumping the cereal in. And no, I wasn't smokin' weed yet at that age lol Don't ask me why I even thought of it. I was just really into sugar.

You know I never tried the GI Joe cereal back in the day. I liked the Ghostbusters cereal that came out though. Got Starduster from one of the mail in offers. Mine came with the patrol pack.

Yeah I never tried the Joe cereal but the Ghostbusters cereal was legendary.

We never had super-sweet stuff in the house, but Alpha Bits got a pass because it didn't have marshmallows or funny colors. Remember the box with the fold-down keyboard in the back? Used to sit around pretending that we had a computer while eating that boring cereal in the morning.

I bought the Joe cereal once. ONCE. You needed to be "JOE TOUGH" to chew it. Ive had C-rations as a kid and would highly recommend them over the Joe cereal.
