USPS lost an eBay order I shipped in April 2024, but they never even managed to scan it once. To both USPS and eBay, it looks like I never shipped the item at all, leaving me out both the figures *and* the $200 spent on them.

Got a pink slip from USPS yesterday, went there today and got a box:

Yeah I don't remember the cereal at all and we had some downright awful ones back then lol

I still remember being amazed that Nintendo Cereal opened from both sides and had 2 different flavors.

I don't know if that's supposed to be significant and maybe "Twilight" or "the Order of the Serpent's Eye" (correct me if this is something from one of the comic runs and not a new thing) will be a new sub-group for Cobra or something.

I believe Lenny made reference to the old Crimson Shadow Guard figure https://www.yojoe.com/action/05/crimsonguard8.shtml and said they just wanted a slight twist on the all-black figure. Not quite "shadow", so he went with "twilight". This whole Order of the Serpent's Eye is something completely new I believe. There is a series of non-Joe books relating to Serpent's Eye, but nothing before in Joe that I remember.

Yes!!! I loved the Nintendo cereal too! I remember loving Circus Fun cereal around the same time as the Joe and Nintendo cereals too.

He'll be a PulseCon Exclusive so we should have a larger opportunity to snag him. Hope Nemesis drops at the same time (BATTLE IN THE SKIES!) and we get both within a month of ordering. The figures displayed at SDCC were final production copies. So he's ready to go.

None at all. My home office IS my toy room. It's well curated and I rotate things out so shelves are clogged. My wife (who could care less about toys) bought me an awesome Danish modern recliner and I frequently find her in there chillin and looking at things. I actually caught he sitting down fiddling with Retro Scarlet. I was genuinely surprised.

I could care less if a guest in my house doesn't "get" my collection. If they feel otherwise they have the good sense to keep their f%$#ing mouths shut.

I think you are right. He's Retro Duke with a new, and really great, head. The weakest part about him is the softly detailed, prone to voids, PVC JUMP. I found a guy that prints a fantastic resin version. I used one of his for this Mando/Cobra Trooper mashup I did 2 years back. I may get another one of those to paint or go GIS.

This happened to me before although I never got the item I shipped back. Now I refuse to ship anything without going inside the post office and getting a physical receipt proving I dropped it off (and then it's also immediately scanned as in the USPS's possession). I annoy the crap out of them because they have a drop off for packages but I refuse to use it as it doesn't get scanned until later in the day which is exactly how one of my boxes came up missing.

At least with the receipt I can file a claim.

Oh, that was *definitely* the lesson learned, just wish it had been like a $30 order instead, ha.

I have a buddy in Brooklyn who sells records and they have a kiosk that you can scan to get the receipt and drop off. No lines, it's incredible. Wish Philly would have one of those.
