It's awful, I have been curious if they are somehow obligated to add all these details to classic art to match the new figure sculpts. The art is such a downgrade to me. I almost wish they had just reinterpreted it with a new artist instead of altering the original art to match Classified.

Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander has been the best so far in my opinion and it's probably because it's all new art.

Yeah I'm finding myself feeling this way more and more often which probably makes sense given how deep we are into the line now.

I canceled my retro cobra trooper the other day after watching an early review. I definitely don't need that figure. I definitely don't need 4 of them. I am debating canceling Retro Stalker as well.

No, not yet. That "Surge" doesn't usually start until 3-5 days before it ends. We still have almost 6 left. And it did pick up a bit since the weekend.

It would be time to worry about it not picking up it we only had 3 days left now instead of almost 6.

Yeah, same boat w/ the Trooper. Stalker's a favorite, so I want to get him. I like the updated colors but I also really dislike his face sculpt. At this stage, I'm still here for a handful of favorites that haven't landed yet and to see what new figures they'll create. And, a Devilfish and Polar Battle Bear.

I feel like the Classified figure (his body at least) is fairly similar to that example. But that head sculpt...his head is where I think things fall apart and he seems like a cartoon character or Shrek or Wreck-it-Ralph. Speaking of BMI, been lifting & swimming for 30 years. Only 5'10" and weigh between 220 and 230, but built like a running back or a boxer. But according to BMI, I'm morbidly obese. It's pretty useless if you have a lot of muscle on your frame.

Thats funny , you almost described me I'm also 5?10? I come in @ about 190lbs .no belly and toned , i have long arms ,broad shoulders and wear an 11.5 size shoe i ride my bike and work out on the reg and have since i was 30 , funny though when i got my son a wii years ago it said i was morbidly obese as well , bmi doesnt take into consideration things like genetics my dad ?god love him ?was 5?8? & weighed about 180lbs the wii also said he was morbidly obese .i might be 8% body fat and thats pushing it .. even my dad was toned ..

I open everything, so it is not much of an issue as long as the figure is solid. However if you compare these to the Retro Spiderman line, it doesnt even compare. I die a lil inside when I open those because the packaging is so rad.

I agree. I've tried really hard to like the art and be excited about it. But when some of the illustrations have figure joints included I'm forced to give up.
