I noticed when the new packaging debuted with the Wave 12 in summer 2023 (Shipwreck/RNR/Copperhead/Torpedo wave), the diorama photo on the front (now pictured on the back) is actually a completely computer/digital render of the figure and isn't a real photograph. Sometimes there are changes from render to production figure (the other promo photos in dioramas are the real deal and are the physical figure on a real set Matt and the other dude setup at Hasbro or at home or on the road at shows. Two ones I can think of are Firefly's rifle in the render photo had green trim and the figure did not and Airborne's knife sheath on his tactical vest/web gear was green but the figure and real photos it is brown. Freditor recently mentioned Clutch's beard is different too. I swear, but am not sure so I could be wrong, that Cohen may have even mentioned this once somewhere before? I might be totally dreaming that up though! lol Farck!

Some of us should try to submit it as a question for Chris McLeod at Full Force since he is planning a nice discussion with Cohen soon. BTW, saw on his official YT channel page that he posted his dog "Phoebe" or "Pheebs" passed over the weekend so he is taking time off and didn't say when they'd he'd be back, but hopefully soon.

I know how losing a pet (car or dog or bird or reptile or rodent, whatever it is) can really rock you, especially if it happens suddenly. I've had at least 3 pets (1 dog, 3 cats) in my life that were fine, then got sick overnight and 3 days later were gone.

Really?! I never would have known. They always have such great photos. I hope they are just delayed bc they have a new Fig in them they don't want to spoil like someone mentioned earlier. Maybe after Pluse Con?

I have not idea what is going on with The NPC & Shockwave's missing Pictures. But "The word on the street" is that when asked about it at SSDC & in a more recent interview (on youtube) the Hasbro Team said (not quoting here) but that Road Pig came together very quickly so was actually released a bit earlier than they originally anticipated.

That kinda implied one of two things that either they never did the photos as they released him "that quickly". (no idea if that means they'd allow them to add it later on or not).

Or they did do the photos and they were cross branding him with something they have not put up for pre-order just yet like Dial-tone, The Saw Viper or Leatherneck (or even later stuff) and as such they didn't want to spoil those so they left them out.. I like that scenario better as at least it means the photos actually exist and could get released at some point.

The negative take on that I guess would be that they never took them and they will so therefore never release them "officially".

I guess someone could go on instagram etc.. and flat out ask them about it some more or as someone like Full Force Podcast to be a pest about it to them.

But perhaps the some unofficial one could get released - just not tied to the listings. All I can say is people need to keep asking when they are interviewed and so no that people are interested in having them for all the usual reasons of visual narration, cross branding and being the primary story telling for the brand (yes even more so than the comics are).

But there is no firm answer I know on if/when Road Pigs pics will be released... though reading between the lines it seems heavily implied they do exist - they just didn't publish them for one of those two reasons.

It?s thrown out way to often for none grail figures.
Sure a casual collector might use the term “grail” to explain his / her most desired figure,

But grail term is for the rarest of the rare . The ones you have to search for for years.

An example of a grail is a MOC 1984 storm shadow that?s still crispy white with no damage to the card. Graded is even more a plus.
That is a unicorn. The value is insane , the rarity is insane and I’ve only seen about 12 in decent shape in the last 4 years.

Not classfied beachhead is my grail. Term used wayyyy to loosely.
