I think it was gone by 5pm est that day which may be long by some standards. But realistically it was short for the average person with other things going on.
People would still be FOMOing even if it was up for a couple weeks to be fair. But I don't see how anyone can deny this was an unusually short run for a Classified vehicle that wasn't a convention exclusive. And literally the only Classified vehicle that didn't go up a second time before archived. At any rate, in an age where people have web access clipped to their hips, pockets, purses, etc., "hours" is a long enough time, and certainly more than enough time to get your preorder in. The drop time was well known ahead of time as well. If the "average person" wasn't able to get their preorder in, that's entirely on them. There was more than enough time to take a smoke/vape/potty break, call a friend, ask the wife/husband/girlfriend/partner, a fellow Tanker, sibling, parent, granny, what have ya. I have an uncle who was a wannabe Hell's Angel (never made it past "hangaround"). His body is covered in "tryhard" tats.

Didn't Emily promise more PAWs were coming? Perhaps there'll be another run of FERRETs as well, with how much Hasbro likes to milk a mold. Time will tell.

I agree with you people had plenty of time and there are always the holdouts , haslabs included and then they complain you can always cancel a product its like these peoples first times or something buying product . i have a cousin who was an outlaw for about 20 years he has the look & tats for it .. he probably has $20,000 worth of ink on him done from ohio to california and all over & inbtwn . Now hes a born again christian and dresses up as santa during christmas .. Oh how times have changed ..

Whether people *in the know* had plenty of time to order a Ferret that day is kind of irrelevant.
My point was this was a dinky run for what it is, not to debate whether every possible collector had the time or knowledge to place an order. People who frequent boards like this and know about every release months in advance are most likely the minority when it comes to buying this sort of thing. Chatting with a few people on reddit and buyers on eBay, the general public can be clueless about what's coming or what currently exists. Sometimes even we here even struggle to find out what's going on. Last edited by Trigger2K; 09-02-2024 at 07:48 PM.. |

I didn't know about the Tiger Paw until it was already sold out and I try to keep up. lol
I keep checking Target's ebay and miss it every time it goes up. Which seems to be multiple times a week. If I can get it for that price, cool. If not, meh. |

Thank God for electronic communications The Tiger Paw took off in sales when it hit the $38 mark on Target prior to the release. Target fulfilled preorders with store stock. The Tiger Paw has been up on eBay several times and plenty have been sold (over 150 of them). It is correctly an inactive item in Target’s computers. Even Hasbro is getting into selling items directly on eBay. They have several classified figures up and had the Jabba Palace TVC set for $79.99 this weekend.

If you mean on Pulse, that is correct. Usually Pulse gets less than 3,000 of any shared exclusives (at least that is what the numbers show on their pages).

Yes i meant pulse, i implied that people knew what i was talking about , I do that in conversation as well where I think people know what I’m about to say so I don’t bother saying certain things Ive seen hasbros ebay site in the past and you are correct the tiger paw is actually very plentiful on ebay and the sold numbers prove it im still in awe the ferret has hit $130 for an actual sold listing about 3 weeks ago im always looking on ebay for something ,Sometimes one can never have enough of a good thing , i still think a ferret on a retro card would sell just because of the weirdness of it just like that adventure/action force or what ever snake eyes that was sold on a card with a black ram minus the side car ..

Sometimes even we here even struggle to find out what's going on. And after all that, if they still really want it, they can go to eBaY. Paying secondary market prices for product you missed out on, or weren't in the game when it was released, it's part of the game. Always has been. Even in the old days, whether it was tracking it down and paying out the ass for it through a LCS, or a convention (pre-internet).
