Even stripped down to a shell, I don't see the MOBAT anywhere close to a $100 price point. I think the SnowCat is also a reach at that point.
More realistically, I think the Skyhawk, AWE Striker, Armadillo, and maybe the Wolverine are flirting with that price point. I would like to think a Triple T would come in at around $75. I think it's pretty clear the MMS will hit at $75 as well which is a shame because, after the HMS, I just don't think the value is there for play/display. I am going to buy it, but it's a price point that makes me cringe, even if I try not to complain about cost. I'd like to see Classified test a $125 or $150 price point to see if we can get things like the SnowCat, ThunderMachine, or Cobra Wolf in the line without needing a HasLab. I feel like those vehicles aren't special enough to need the full HasLab glow up but I do see them as more costly than the VAMP. But, I usually am wrong on price guessing so who knows? AWE Striker is a nice choice, but they just finished with the VAMP. Thinking they may go a different direction with the next $100 vehicle. |

I realized something. That made more sense than the age old arguments of comic vs cartoon , or realistic vs toyish designs.
Some of us want our childhood toys to stay the same as we grew up with, and some of us want our childhood toys to grow up with us. For the sake of which one is better ( I’m guilty of this ) , I think seeing it from a “grow up or stay the same” way clarifies no one is wrong or right, just which one is more reflective for you individually. Random thought I wanted to share.

I wonder if there is any possibility that the idea of each (main) new vehicle changing theme/environment and swapping between Cobra and Gi Joe will or could also be applied to the Hight priced "Retail" Vehicle price points too ?
Or to put it another way.. Stinger = Ground Assault What next (in Cobra terms) A Plane and a Boat ? I.e. a Firebat and a Water Moccasin say ? Or if you stretched the point a bit with Gi Joe A Vamp followed by say a Sky Hawk and then followed up with a Sharc and as that isn't very boat like a small Devilfish along side that release ? |

I don't think we'll see the line ending because they dip in 90s subteams, it'll be our sign when the line ends when they obviously run out of money like complete reuse of parts for repaints with no new molds.

I honestly don't think we are going to get into water vehicles yet, d define definitely not before we get a legitimate tank. The air stuff is fair game though, which is why so the small air vehicles are starting to come out. I know they consider displays somewhat and it works be a much bigger hassle to create space for an aquatic portion than to add air stuff floating above

Not that I'm inferring the line is ending any time soon (because, frankly, whoever does isn't paying attention), but I'd imagine the first signs, like most lines, will be cutting most/all accessories, cutting back on detailed tampo, and removal of articulation. We're nowhere near that point.
