I hear you, but that is likely a recipe for drastically reduced vehicle sales.

From my own experience, I only got the Coil cycle, Night Force Ram, Tiger Force Ram, and Tigerpaw for the figures they came with. On the reverse side, I feel like I dislike the Ferret more than the others because I did not care for the motocross driver.

Any Haslab vehicle thread would indicate how important figures are to selling them.

The o-ring ARAH line may have been focused on vehicles, but when it comes to Classified, the figures are what is selling this line in my opinion.

Then again, I tend to complain the female Joes have way too much makeup on. Lady Jaye looks normal and then next to hwr Scarlett and Cover Girl look like they're going to a party not a war.

Might be just me, but I dont have any issues managing my toy budget (surprise, I dont really have one!) and I dont look at preorders as spent money. I just look at it as a way to make sure I get something if I truly want it. In fact I often preorder the same item from 3 different places and cancel 2 of them. Almost every website or retailer is good about letting you know when items are on the verge of being in stock. When they do, I assess if I have the money for said item, and if I still want that item. I cancel things quite often.

I have been caught off guard a couple times over the past 4 years, so dont listen to me if you keep a very strict budget. That said I just order whatever I want and I re-prioritize as items become available. I find that Pulse, BBTS, and Amazon are all pretty solid about letting you know when you are about to be charged for an item.

You are most likely very accurate with your statements. I do not see any vehicle that has been released to date having the same success without a figure/driver with it.

Even most of the ARAH line featured drivers/pilots with vehicles. As did the 25th line, both of which are arguably the 2 most successful financially in the history of GI Joe.

Whuh? Jinx is Kim / Kimi Arashikage, cousin to Storm Shadow, she's very Japanese. But many of the Joe / Cobra characters used Chinese-inspired weapons. They didn't really have Google back then.

I guess she was only Chinese in the GI Joe: Cobra miniseries.

I need to rewatch all the sunbow stuff. Watching the '87 movie the other day was the first time I saw the cartoon in decades.

Man i must be a big nerd then ,minus my son and i watching the series on the regular when he was younger , i still find myself watching it occasionally on youtube & tubi , i watched operation dragon fire a few weeks ago man its tough to watch The dialogue is terrible. But the movie itself is a stand alone that and the pyramid of darkness miniseries , some of the animation in the pyramid of darkness, is some of the best I?ve ever seen and its hard to believe it?s almost 40 years old .they put some work in to that series ..

Also jinx was also portrayed as storm shadows cousin in gijoe renegades as well .. that series wasnt bad and i wish resolute would have been longer but it was still enjoyable ..
