I'd much rather have Hasbro produce other mid-sized vehicles for the $100 price point. Having multiple repaints of the VAMP does nothing for me. At this point, give me a $100 Awe Striker or a $100 Water Moccasin or a $100 Snow Cat.

That would be horrible.. I was teasing a little by listing some of the possible repaints... I honestly don't mind 1 a year though so long as it is in addition to new moulds.

Some of the things they "might" make may not be quite so strong on the repaints.. the Sharc for example. So I expect there would be a very strong temptation to 4X4 farm as much as they possibly can.

But I have no objection to there being repaints.. they would be perfectly fine in the proper Misen Scene.

As long as the variety is strong, they could probably do 3 a year at that price point, ideally 1 new Joe vehicle and 1 new Cobra, then maybe a repaint thrown in.

I agree, but I do want a VAMP Mk II. I can wait a year for it while a Water Moccasin uses that price point.

I don’t need another VAMP, but I would have to get the MK II if they make it. I know it is in their best interest to keep making the color variations and get more stretch out of the mold, but that might be the end of the line for me. Plus I know the purists will want tan Clutch and while that is fine, I personally just would rather spend another $100 on something else other than another straight repaint. I love the VAMP, but I prefer the AWE Striker anyway. And even though I have gone all-in on the sub-teams, I think they will continue to be relegated to motorcycles and ATVs for space and cost reasons even if the Tiger Sting eventually does get released. Just my 2 cents.

The AWE Striker at $100 would have to get bulked up in scale if that's what the WM and SC are going for. A $75 AWE Striker, maybe. Not that it's up to me.
