I'm not worried about getting the Stinger - but now I want a Stinger Driver. That black mask works so much better on him. I always liked the Stinger Driver when I was a kid. Much better than the regular Cobra Troopers.

Most Classified figures have just nailed the face-sculpts. They look exactly like what I always envisioned the characters to be: Clutch, Rock n Roll, Shipwreck, Retro Scarlet, Stalker, Doc, Quick Kick, Mutt, Bazooka, Outback. Very few have just missed the mark a tiny bit. Flint is one of those.

While I think retro Scarlett has a good sculpt as in it's not ugly, her face doesn't remind me of Sunbow Scarlett or the original '82-83 card art (similar to sunbow) which is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the character.

Much better. Fans continue to undo some of Hasbro's odd design choices.

I don't have the 788 figures but I have a good paint set. My Stinger is out for delivery now, previously expected on Tuesday.

Yeah, I passed on that for the hopes of a retro or redo of that sculpt, but I doubt it will change. I feel like he was over designed with the tattoos and pig armor thing

I happen to really like the Road Pig design. I'm a bit surprised so many are not a fan. The tattoos thing especially surprises me. The Dreadnoks in general seem like guys/gals that would make terrible decisions in all aspects of their lives.. including getting bad ink work done. I also think the sort of dumb brute look works for him. I guess everyone has their own tastes. I'm pretty excited for his release.

Well it seems some people have kittens if anyone mentions anything later than 1986 being on a retro card.

It will be interesting to see how some people react when they start dropping some latter Vipers into the mix.

I wonder if they have the parts to do a a closer to vintage Iron Grenadiers on a card.. or would they even consider a "it will do" version made out of Armoured Cobra Commander parts... which I wouldn't mind if it was clearly labelled as armour they earned as a "bonus" for a job well done in Destro's war mongering ways.

I don't think I'd mind having several slightly different Iron Grenadiers I think that would be better than having the new design as the only option anyway.

You can't put the stupid foot mount that comes with the stinger on the back of the VAMP because of the jerry can cage on the back of it. Am I doing something wrong because I remember Lenny saying on stream that the back foot plate will fit on the VAMP. :/
