+1. Two of the best retros that undid two of the worst Classifieds. I haven't even opened Flint and won't if the Retro is truer to the old look.

Yes. Something about Flint's face sculpt. It's not bad - it's actually a really good sculpt - but it just doesn't look like Flint to me.

Most Classified figures have just nailed the face-sculpts. They look exactly like what I always envisioned the characters to be: Clutch, Rock n Roll, Shipwreck, Retro Scarlet, Stalker, Doc, Quick Kick, Mutt, Bazooka, Outback. Very few have just missed the mark a tiny bit. Flint is one of those.

Do you think anyone at Hasbro has heard how much collectors disliked Falcon's head? From such a soft-spoken and easy-going group? I'd like for Retro Falcon to have the radio backpack and Retro Flint to have gear like their v1 figures too.

I agree with everything you said ,if they make a retro falcon make him look like the actual ver 1 dark beret darker camo pattern a good shotgun not covergirls or the one he came with ,give us the bend on the antenna , flint give us his signature shotgun shell laden vest , his pistol grip shot gun , even make the sag in his pants like the og had .

Ive been wanting a good falcon/flint for a long time even the 25th versions were kind of MEH . Falcon looked alright and flint was okay but when they made resolute flint i was content that figure had a look from the shells on his wrist to the way he wa made i realize he was all duke , stalker from resolute was great too that figure was one of my top tens from the ME line .

This is why I think the NF Falcon and Quarrel should have been a Pulse Exclusive. I will guarantee this set will be among the most returned Classified item in the run. The number of old Falcon heads that will be swapped out for the new one and put back in the packaging will be off the charts.

This will be a disaster. That kind of a switch wouldn't happen with Pulse returns.

The haircut and jawline of Flint don't look like Flint to me - but - I'll add that I thought Clutch was too much of a pretty boy. He should've looked more like the late Razor Ramon.

The Resolute figures were fun. Not sure we'll see them jump to Classified, but I hope they do. It would be great if Retro Falcon became one of the best-looking figures in the line after the cringe-worthy Classified version.

If not, I can see him getting some customizers on their 3D printers. The Classified Dreadnoks don't seem too departed from their retro looks but RP didn't hit the mark for me w/ that goober face and how he looks squatty instead of giant. He needs a height advantage that he doesn't appear to have in the reveals.

I think Flint's face is great.

But if they wanted to do another one - just don't make it worse.
I'm not 100% taken with Retro Duke's he's a very plain looking figure.. it is why I find myself often reaching for the TF Duke over any other version.

Duke is hard to get right though there are so many UGLY Dukes out there over the years.

I will say this much though I don't mind Retro in the slightest, but I don't want the brand to fall into the trap of only nostalgia farming it's first 4 years over and over (I get more than enough of that from Transformers already thanks very much) or to put it another way "Make Col. Courage" & "Make Ice Cream Soldier".

I'm sitting here expectantly waiting for things based on stuff past 1989 - even things I don't have a lot of emotional attachment too like Plague Troopers.. i'd be happy to have just as they are obscure enough to "feel" like something new. & I like something new now and again mixed in with the nostalgia farming.

Or to be blunt about it.

I like the Coil Cycle.

Right after I last posted, my Stinger arrived.

I'm liking this head swap a lot better. I usually like bits of contrast and color, but that red mask was throwing me off.
