I wonder if it would be viable to buy replacement remote control car tires and then fit them to new 3D printed hubs and then put them on a Vamp or Ferret ?
I have seen some people customising Vamps with big tires but I think they just bolted on an entirely new lower chassis rather than just print some wheel hubs for their chosen tires that would fit. Just a passing thought I had anyway... as a possible way to make the various repaints look more distinct. Quote:
Wrong thread my boy. That?s an general topic discussion in :
https://www.hisstank.com/forum/toys/. You keep your power rangers outta here! Both of which cite it as inspirations on them : https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...Galacy+Rangers I got called away as I was typing and actually pressed send before I meant too otherwise I would have finished my thought properly which was going to wind in Fortnite Snake Eyes The Hasbro "Collaboration brands" and speculate if TAOTGR could be a possible Collaboration brand like people suggest with MASK or Visionaries. I only really brought it up however as I wasn't sure who owns the rights and I thought i'd ask if anyone knows if there is any retained rights on it or if they all long since lapsed.. If you have never seen it it is a bit like Bravestarr if there was 4 of him. It was an interesting show written in a America but animated in a distinctly anime style in Asia & it also sprinkled in some early use of CGI too in tasteful ways. Anyway If Hasbro has any right on that then that would be good if they ever get their act together and make that "Hasbro legends" 6" line with things like Rom the Space Knight, Micronauts, M.A.S.K., Visionaries etc.. I just mentioned it in passing as I do wonder if they do introduce other 6" lines they might be tempted to use the large library of Classified parts to make some of them.. I.e. M.A.S.K. especially I can't help but notice how similar it is to Gi Joe body templates & they have done M.A.S.K. GI Joe crossovers before after all. |

Totally agree that some older movies are almost ruined when moved to 4K. For the GI Joe toon.. I think HD would be fine.. mostly just for the aspect ratio more than animation quality.. at least for me.. that's all I really want.. GI Joe widescreen. I suspect cleaning it up a bit wouldn't hurt.
I still watch Star Wars on VHS... |

For the sake of clarity I would just say I can assure you that The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers isn't the same as Power Rangers.. it is a bit like Firefly or Guardians of the Galaxy though. Can anyone who has received their Stinger tell how bad the backwards blast effects look when on the missiles in person? Is there an easy fix for it? I know you can just leave them off and all, but that kind of stuff irrationally bothers the hell out of me. lol.

In all seriousness I think anyone who even likes 1980's cartoons a little would really like The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers if they have not seen it, Looking back on it now I am starting to wonder if it could be accused of inventing the MCU's "tone" in the 1st place as it seems to wildly veer from pathos to comedy and stuff bordering on slapstick and then it just has these moments where is just well "great" especially the episode where Goose does his lone gunslinger "Man with no name" act that ep is awesome.
Wow what a joy it would be to have 65 episodes of such a great show new to you now. I sometimes wonder if that episode when Nog & Jake have an adventure in DS9 was appropriated from a similar episode of TAOTGR. Starcom's another favourite of mine, Perhaps if/when Hasbro and Mattel merge Hasbro can adopt Starcom some how or other too. Since Mattel as so shy of Magnets they won't touch it in any form. & At least Hasbro is willing to sub-license things out like they have with Power Rangers. There is so many IP's of the 1980's and 1990's that barely get a look in that could make someone a lot of money.. Swat Kats for example was muted a while ago as being part of a Mash up "shared Universe" reboot with others like Biker Mice & Turtles - considering 2 of those got quite dark that would be raising TMNT up to 1990's Movie levels of violence again I'd think. But I can't say I'd have any issue with the Biker Mice, Swat Kats and TMNT existing in the same Universe / show. I don't suppose Transformers one fit do they... I've never actually checked & if they do they'd be beneficial I thought I read somewhere the ports were some off scale though like 6.2mm and not something logical like 5mm |

Man they're just slow in general. I came across a Creature from the Black Lagoon "Gill-Man" Funko Pop at Bedrock Comics today, which I've had on pre-order from BBTS for months now, so I cancelled from my phone and picked him up.
I know some folks hate them but they're so damn collectible lol... also picked up the old "Sting Raider" Water Moccasin from TRU that had the Swamp Viper, so it was a good run. |
