To (HONESTLY) think the Classified Team would launch something like this seems completely out of touch with the brand direction. When a brand is doing as well as Classified due to success after smashing success the last thing they are going to do is have a meeting and say,"Ok, guys! here's a great idea. Let's launch a largely unrecognizable tank, price it at 300+ and expect 16k people to back it." I think the new comics and upcoming video game may help Classified continue to get more momentum and get a little more popular. Any media appearances like in movies (the TF one) or a new cartoon would also cause an uptick in its popularity too.

Classified seemed to have more coverage this year at SDCC on YT and social media outlets, so I think more fans were exposed to the brand and may have started collecting it now too.

It's really hard to say at this point if it truly has peaked or not since we are riding on such a big wave at the moment. It's very possible that peak can go a little bit higher.

At least for Q2, WotC and Digital Gaming is still pulling all the weight towards profitability for the company as a whole. They called out GI Joe and Marvel specifically as positives within toys in the earnings presentation, but the only mention of Star Wars in any of the investor materials was in the context of it and GI Joe being drivers for Pulse. I'm kind of curious where Star Wars' profitability sits. They should be talking about it if it matters. I don't keep up with that brand, but I see lots of it rotting at clearance.

There's danger in over-saturation of any product, but action figures have never really seemed to go away, have they? Skybound is doing a great job with the brand too. Even the upcoming o-ring line from S7 can serve to excite new collectors, tomorrow's completionists, and skeptics who didn't think 6" was for them at first. We just don't want another SE:O shlockbuster.

Well, they sure dumped a LOT of figures from the Acolyte show, and since that just got canned for abysmal viewership levels, I can't imagine focusing so much on that specific Star Wars property has/will serve them well.

Just from my personal experience, I think you may be giving retail buyers more credit than they deserve.
