HAVOC would be better as a HasLab than a boring, outdated tank. I need cartoon deco Chuckles to be able to toss a rocket at the HISS. It?s iconic lore that Hasbro needs to acknowledge. The best way would be via a HAVOC Haslab work Chuckles as a tier. It would have to include a rocket that he could hold and maybe a blast effect for the front on the HISS.

This a fun thought experiment. Look at this and ask yourself "what if the plan is to release things more or less in date order"

I love Dustin's dedication to being able to recreate Chuckles throwing a missile in 1/12 scale. His unbridled enthusiasm around this matter is truly infectious.
We need to take this to Dreadnok Twins level of obsession. In 2027 (since the haslab is obviously already chosen for this year) I want to hear Tony say "annnndddd the missiles are scaled perfectly for Chuckles to throw" when presenting the Havoc Haslab. |

Every time the end of Hasbro's license for Star Wars and Marvel approaches, people panic and think Hasbro won't retain the license. Probably what is happening with any current rumors. There really isn't another toy company, other than Mattel, who could handle either license volume-wise. Unless Disney parsed out the license and spread out different scales to different companies.
D&D brings in a lot of revenue, so they're not dropping. The only license Hasbro has which they could likely drop is Power Rangers. They've already licensed toys for it out to Playmates. Conceivably, they could sell the property to someone. The only other thing that could be happening to cause rumors is Hasbro could start licensing some of their properties out to other companies for a range of products. We've seen them license out GIJoe and Transformers to McFarlane for their Page Punchers line. Super7 makes some GIJoe product. Jada made some GIJoe vehicles. And Playmates got the license for Power Rangers toys. There were "prototypes" of a few parts for Mega Construx which looked very much like GI Joe items, so maybe Hasbro will license out GI Joe to Mega Construx. So instead of making all kinds of tertiary types of products themselves, Hasbro is starting to license out brands to other toy companies. This kind of thing wasn't really happening in the past, but maybe they'll just continue this trend. |

Clues point to the Indy license being part and parcel with SW. Same team worked on both. So it's more likely, Hasbro still has it, just isn't making figures with it. I believe there might still be some "themed" games still coming out.

Hasbro cannot drop Star Wars and/or Marvel. Disney can drop Hasbro since they own the IPs. Star Wars and Marvel accounted for 18% of Hasbro?s revenue in 2023. They cannot make up that kind of a loss. Star Wars and Marvel would be fine without Hasbro making their toys. Hasbro would not be fine not making Star Wars and Marvel toys.
Transformers, Play-Doh and Hasbro gaming combined for 65% of revenue. GI Joe, which is listed under portfolio brands, was part of a group that accounted for just 10% of revenue. I am waiting to see the 2024 numbers compare to the above 2023 numbers. Quote:
Of course, there are many other factors but this is just one big thing that stands out to me. There are plenty of lurking variables at play.
