Just received shipping notices for Stingers from Entertainment Earth.

I'm happy with anything with the name "Viper" attached.
But I guess I am in eager expectation of a Toxo-Viper, HEAT viper and Rock Viper.

I'm not bothered about not getting the Night Viper as I expect he's not that far away after the Frag Viper as someone was speculating that some part for him already were placed on a 2024 release or releases.

But after the more classic ones I also have some more 21st century wants too like an Alley Viper Officer (vrs 2), Data Viper, & Paraviper.

For reasons I mentioned the other day I fully expect the Desert Scorpion will be out well inside 2 years too.

Darklon showed up reasonably quickly in terms of how long it was before we got some hints and then some parts.. I expect a prototype or render reveal isn't to far off for him.

Yeah, the rumor is Darklon ss the 4th still unrevealed figure in Wave 19 (Blowtorch, Frag-Viper, Footloose). We will see the renders for that wave at PulseCon, so likely be seeing his render a few weeks from now.

Which I didn't even realize until now, Pulse Con is only 23 days away!

I was just thinking, unless they do some good updates too zap, flash, and short fuze, I have no interest in classified version if those characters. I've never liked the vibe with those guys and i can't explain why

I hope they do a good job with Footloose and he's not one that misses the Target like some would say the latest Storm Shadow did. Especially since they are going to repaint him at least once (minimum), also I like how soldery the original looks - all be in a different way to the almost 1960's look 'Green Guys'.

But I can see some merit to giving him a Night Force deco as he seems to fit the theme very well with the whole Dark Energon Mine angle to the visual story telling.

I would be OK with them applying Darklon's Evader "Motorcycle" as a ride for a generic.. Perhaps they could invent a special new driver for it (maybe a girl) and then he still gets it, but we also get something that can be army built... as Cobra La have Motorcycles too.. It might also be worth having something that can be remoulded into one of those too.

Flash, Zap, and Short Fuse were some of my core Joes. As a nerdy kid, I tended to get to play the more cerebral Joes like Flash (Electrical engineer), Breaker (communications), Short Fuze (math guy by filecard), Zap (demolitions expert), or Hawk. My older brother usually got the ninjas and my younger brother got the heavy weapons guys.

Long story short, I really want to see Flash, Short Fuse, and Zap in Classified. They were all a pretty big part of my formative Joe years.

Oddly, we never had a Mauler or Mobat and I wonder if some of my lukewarm feelings on those toys and their drivers is connected to Joe tanks never really being a part of our play.
