The one issue is those who can't afford figures when they are up for preorder and then certainly can't afford them when they're on Ebay for boku bucks more.

But that also might tell them (and me) to get out of collecting if you can't afford it.

Are items SELLING for those crazy prices or just LISTED for those prices?

As I'm finding out selling my Hot Toys and Star Wars collection, what it's LISTED for is very much not what people will PAY.

This. The logic was hard to follow.

I mean, there's a finite stock available for pre-order on pulse exclusives, and once they're sold, it's shut off. And the window is often very short, especially for non-Pulse members.

You can go get a MOC telescoping lightsaber Vader on eBay for 5 figures, too. That doesn't mean they're restocked at Kenner.

I paid a fellow tanker $35 apiece plus shipping for 2 range vipers was it a deal , compared to ebay yes . I already had 9-10 of them but still wanted more of them like i still do .. the more of them i picked up the more i liked the idea of having an above average army of them ,20 would be limit unless they make him again in the retro line then it might be more like 24-30 There?s only three troopbuilders I have more than 10 of , those would be range vipers , the amazon eel ,and bats . I have more than 10 when it comes to total cobra officer/troopers/vipers some are pp some are regs with different numbers of each ..

Right now there are (3) Range-vipers up for bidding (auction)

1 with over 2 days to go is bid up to $46 with free shipping (17 bids)
1 with over 5 days to go is bid up to $30 with $6.16 shipping (10 bids)
1 with over 3 days to go is bid up to $50 with $6.70 shipping ( 8 bids)

while not many available, they are getting bids, how many of those bids are legit, idk.

Jeffrozup, you keep track of stats just like me. Do you happen to know how many OAMCC have sold so far on Pulse?

I think OAMCC is pretty much done on Pulse unless they run a restock for PulseCon like they did for Mindbender and Serpentor in the past.

As for the secondary price of OAMCC, the avergae auction price has dropped from $112 to $88. The cheapest Buy it Now on eBay is $75. So, yeah, there is still a premium on eBay, but it is coming way down from the first week scramble.

As for the Range Viper, looks like the cheapest Buy It Now is $55 and the average Auction price is around $47.

Aside from a few notable exceptions, the secondary market for Classified is soft and usually peaks early and then trails off rather than climbing in value over time.

Anecdotally, I initially bought two of the Pulse Trubble Bubbles. I realized my shelf only REALLY has room for one. My buddy has a case at an antique mall that he offered to sell one in for me, and it's still sitting. Classified is really a "strike while the iron is hot" kinda thing.

Man star wars is the worst thing to try and resell even if its just clearing out some figures . Ive seen lots w/20 decent figs go for barely $$100 and thats black series so thats msrp $400 plus going for a 1/3 of what they were purchased for .. disney/hasbro has killed star wars collecting way too much product and it shows when only a handful of stuff actually is worth anything after even a year just try and recoup your money on blackseries after paying full price for everything it?ll never happen . The last thing i made money on that was star wars related was hunter & crosshair , both great figures , i did a thing when they first came out i bought both of them everytime i saw them at a physical store for a month , then i sold them all .. $60-$80 a piece i had 8 of each of them ,im not usually a scalper but i knew these were going to be hot ..

Carry on the discussion of missing restocks or preorders. Which is roughly 60% of this entire thread. God forbid some logic outweighs common complaints.
