Thats a good idea i feel like ordering one from somewhere random like gamestop ive bought from them for longer than i can count but only preordered from them a dozen times maybe .

That's how I remember it, the figure started production when this occurred so some batches were shipped out.

I don't know if they were necessarily shipped out at that point, but most definitely boxed and sealed in cases.

I believe in the Gi Joe guide book it said it was a mixup. The 1982 blue versions are the correct ones. The Python Patrol were mistakes unless they decided to change them for that sub team.
