True and probably, but you never know. Plenty of people can barely afford neccessary things and are stressed to hell. They might just want to feel like a part of something fun, for a minute. I grew up with a few dirt poor friends, so I talk from that perspective. This is, also, the reason I donate unwanted collectibles to children's shelters.

Ive done that many times i love donating for the kids , kids & animals are my favorite causes to give to .. they cant help whats going wrong in their lives ….

Supposedly this happens (in some packaging types at least like Retro SW ) as they pack them wrong. Funny how an error that simple could have been avoided simply by making the cards slightly thick bubbles or slightly less wide so they'd only go the correct way in the box then. Instead of the width being only a fraction different to the "stack height".

To be honest I strongly suspect they wouldn't be as damaged as they get if they didn't over stack the cases as much as some do that extra weight is what is likely compressing them.. and that is more down to how they pallet them more than how they pack them I bet places that use shelves rather than tower of doom style stacks don't get damage as much as they don't add all that extra weight.

I've never had a single issue with an Amazon purchase. I have had issues with GameStop, BBTS and Pulse though.

The most common thing that comes damaged from Amazon is Cardbacks and packaging.


If your item arrives undamaged, Amazon considers that mission accomplished.


Sometimes Amazon will even ship things in their original boxes and paste post labels on them if they think the contents will arrive undamaged.
