I was getting Amazon deliveries sent to a hub in a state with no sales tax, which saves a ton in the long run on top of the 5% cash back.

Unfortunately a lot of stores are doing away with Amazon hubs/lockers in this area. The 2 I used to have things sent to no longer do it and I can't find any within a reasonable distance. It's a nice option for those who have it.

I've never had an issue with Amazon for any action figures. They're the first place I check. Not only that, but I've got great deals on buying Classified Amazon returns from a local auction. Most are complete and perfect, it's only the packaging that had any issues. The fact that they sell pallets of returns off to these places makes me skeptical of repacker stories from Amazon.

This is where I'm unsure. How many did they make before Slaughter decided the look was unacceptable and they had to make a running change? Maybe the bulk were already done this way. Time will tell. Maybe it will be even.

I live in town with a major Amazon hub via air and rail and multiple distribution centers. The speed Amazon delivers at is hard to beat in my area.. often same day. That being said.. I have only ever had issues with repacks from Amazon. By "issues" I mean a few times out of hundreds of orders. It's annoying but Amazon's return policy couldn't be easier. I still prefer supporting BBTS over Amazon.. sort of supporting the place that is specifically for collectors. The repack issue may very well be overblown but in my case it has happened multiple times.

Amazon has them all beat on sales though. I've snagged a lot of great Classified stuff on sales there... multiple of the Viper 3 pack among others.

I don't remember but someone on here posted that was the case from somewhere online or one of the fanstreams that Slaughter denied the hatless figure even though some were in production.

The person messaged me again and they were able to get Amazon to exchange the figure. Dude got the retro Beachhead for $16.82 when it is all said and done. Amazon let him keep the Lady Jaye too.

I've bought most of my Classifieds there except for Pulse exclusives, the only issue I have is they put Super7/Star Wars retro in too small boxes which bends up the cards.

Wow... If you don't want to pay full price, people are selling loose figures on classified sites. Just pick those up for cheap. I get inflation is a bitch and that everyone wants/needs a hobby, to relax. But, there are other ways than this.

I suspect being able to afford it wasn't even a factor. Some people are just dishonest for no reason what so ever. Or they may justify that Amazon won't even feel that loss.. but they don't consider that may end up in some other collectors hands (although I doubt that would be dissuading factor either).
