Because it's where Classified are sold. I've had thousands of transactions with them and only a handful of issues. Their return/exchange policy is considerably easier than Pulse's, you don't have to pay return shipping like BBTS, and Amazon is considerably more reliable/trustworthy than eBaY who won't even take down an auction with stolen pics that have another user's watermark. lol

I almost exclusively use BBTS or Pulse also now, but Pre-Ordering from Amazon is usually pretty safe. You start to take a gamble ordering anything "in stock" though as that's when returns and stuff enter the mix. I will say, however, the few times I've had issues with Amazon.. it's easy to fix and is basically no questions asked.

Saw MM Slaughter in a Gamestop today. Glasses and Hat not on the figure. I'm not sure which is going to be more difficult to find but I suspect it will be the version with the Hat and Glasses on the figure.

I’ve maybe ordered 100 figures that are nonclassified from Amazon but between the GF and I we have ordered more items that I can count .. only had 2-3 problems ever . I hate amazon though .

I suppose preferences can depend upon geography as well. In addition to going with Amazon for the reasons Nam mentioned, I can often get items either "same day" or "next day" delivered to my door in excellent packaging. To be clear, I'm ordering items both "sold by" and "shipped by" Amazon. Not Amazon Sellers. There are a number of large fulfillment centers in the Portland area.

I have Pulse Premium, but once items ship, it takes about 7 to 10 days to reach me. My OAMCC finally shipped two days ago and isn't set to arrive via FedEx until next Thursday. That 7-10 day average is a huge improvement from the cluster-f--k that was Portland's FedEx hub for a couple of years there (it has improved).

Returns only require a couple clicks on Amazon's app and I'm usually refunded seconds after I drop the item off at the UPS store (or Kohl's). I'm guessing the returns process has improved with Pulse(?), but years ago when I had to return a defective Transformer, it was a cumbersome process.

But at the end of the day, I order from Amazon, Pulse and BBTS. I'm usually not in a hurry for items and am generally happy with all three. I do try to avoid any sellers (on Amazon or Ebay) with less than 100% ratings.

It's my preferred store to buy Classified from, the prices dip under MSRP, I get them shipped free, & they're well boxed for transit.

It's supposed to be the opposite, Slaughter opposed the version where he does have his hat on so that should be worth more.

But I just wondered about it as I keep noting people say things like "My collection is nearly complete" as they want to recreate what they had wher they were 8, rather than look at the toy line as a contemporary thing (like I do). Not that I don't think Nostalgia is an important thing for many people. I just don't mind things going a bit off the range sometimes.. otherwise we wouldn't have things like Profit Director Destro at all.

I just get the impressions sometimes I am on my own wanting a Alley Viper Officer (for example) or that I consider a HEAT Viper or Rock Viper an absolute necessity... but at the same time would be just as happy to have a Jungle BAT, Undertow Officer or a Shock Trooper.

I am with you. I see the line as a contemporary thing and am far more interested in seeing the lore continue to grow rather than retreading the past. A majority of my wants are characters that have been introduced in the last few years rather than characters I had in my childhood (of course, knowing that we will likely get those classic characters likely tempers that sentiment). I love when new characters or elements are introduced that expand the story rather than just playing on nostalgia alone.

Also, let Lenny and the team design some of their own from scratch - maybe present some options and enable a fan vote for what gets put into production...it would eliminate the risk inherent in transitioning from the nostalgia feels as those options reduce in number.

A Data Viper would be a great addition to the Classified line. The Retaliation design really did a good job of anticipating the role that FPV drones are playing in combat today. I think there is even possible reuse for some of the parts on the Joe side. Characters like Sneak Peak, Scoop, or even Mainframe could be reimagined as drone operators.
