Last I checked, Clutch by himself was going for $80-100 (that's sold completed eBay listings) so it doesn't surprise me. There's no indication they plan to release it again soon in this deco. I figure we're in store for some repaints in the near term though. I wouldn't mind a desert version and I hope if they do the dreadnok version they spice it up with some different addon parts.

Desert version with rocket launcher and armor plates for canopy is the VAMP mk2 and seems rather likely to happen. Maybe a Tiger Force one if Target is willing to carry that expensive of a Joe vehicle. I don't see them doing too many more repaints other than those. Or at least for a while.

I think we'll see an AWE Striker instead. Which will take away some of the demand for the original VAMP to be re-released.

Yeah I think that's really about it for reuse. Those are basically the 2 most recognizable versions elft of that mold, things like Rattler 4WD, MSV, Danger at the Docks, dreadnock assault, and Python Patrol Stinger are on a different level of recognizability. If they do the Tiger Sting the Python Patrol Stinger could maybe happen just because I don't see Python Patrol getting a bigger vehicle liee that anytime soon.

If BBTS listed them as substandard packaging there is something definitely wrong with them. It might be minor to a collector but enough of a ding for them to mark it down.

Usually the substandard items go for less than retail but not in this case.

Yeah, it's insane. I just looked, 31 Clutches have sold (not including listings where an offer was made) and he averages a whopping $90! A couple sold for around $60-$65, but the rest all went for $75-$100+.

Yeah, I'm trying to preserve the 50 bucks I saved in ordering the Stinger and the next couple of waves (retro and SS/IG) from them. I typically pay more to get things early but with the Rattler and a couple of trips and birthdays coming up I'm attempting a bit more discipline with non-essential purchases.
