I'm all for generic drivers/troops - and the action sailor could be an easy repaint - but I don't know how far Hasbro has moved away from the Breaker/RAM, Tele-Viper/Trubble Bubble, and Baroness/COIL mindset. I'm guessing if they sold enough of those they might risk a Wet-Suit/Devilfish set then give us a Retro Wet-Suit. Either way, it's good times for Joe fans.

The Devilfish could come with a generic Joe diver. Preferably in the orange/grey suits from the cartoon. People may want more than one Devilfish, so packing it with an army-builder may be a good idea. Then again, a cartoon Joe diver vs a cartoon Cobra diver would be a cool 2pk and allow for more troop building vs troop building a vehicle.

I wish they'd do driverless small vehicle releases like back in the day. So far all the Joe vehicles have come with a main character which makes buying multiples kind of lame. I'm not sure how much I'd want to pay $55+ for a vehicle with a generic Joe driver either since I'd probably sell it and put an existing character on it.

Would it be that different from NF Ripcord and NF Crazylegs coming out before v1 versions? Or NF Shooter, NF Big Ben, TF Bazooka, and TF Recondo coming out first?

When an alt version comes out first, I see it as a signal we will be getting a mainline v1 or retro sometime sooner rather than later.

Eh, while there were a few complaints, I don't remember that much backlash over Roadblock who had that happen (he even had the CI version which was a brand new look before we got the v1 HA version).

There's a bit of a jump though from a $40 pricepoint to a $100 one. So there's also that to consider if they're including a character that was heavily featured in the cartoon (which is what Lenny seems to be favoring). That's why I think we'll see Wetsuit in the mainline first, or his v2 with a vehicle.

Tweaking it a little would benefit it get rid of the handle put some lights in it and put an internal weapons bay where the handle is.
Make it a hair bigger and I think it would be a very popular thing, but also something Hasbro themselves would never make.

The YF-23 like Storm Eagle is also something they can't really chase someone over since Hasbro was pinching it's likeness in the 1st place themselves. Same tweaks would work on this too ditch the handle and replace it with an internal weapons bay and broaden the wings a little bit. Ad lights and landing gear hatches and you'd have something else based on a very well regarded *real* prototype Jet which alone would sell it.

But I think the Liquidator would be a decent choice as it fills that air superiority fighter role Cobra Otherwise bares has. & it would be less of a legal minefield than the Stellar Stiletto or something like that.

I think they likely should stay away from anything hasbro might make themselves like the SHARC though.

Give me a Cobra take on the Su-27/30/35 FLANKER series RedAlertRescue.

It looks like a bad hombre, and w/ the canards equipped 30+ versions, is even more so. I have no illusions such a thing will cone to Classified, but if Cobra generally speaking were outfitted with an affordable air superiority fighter, the FLANKER series would be it.

I still would fall for a Night Raven in Classified- even though the cost and size would be outrageous- but a realistic fighter that could turn with and keep up w/ a Joe Skystriker or Conquest would require a FLANKER style frame.

Agreed the hiss is bigger than it should be and rightfully so as the flagship attack vehicle for cobra it needed to be big/extreme eye catching and more ,one of my coworkers came over awhile back ,he knows i collect and asked to see my stuff he said WOW when he saw the hisstank hes my age & he had it as a kid but he was blown away with how it looked and felt in his adult hands .. he was even more shocked @ the price and that i have 2 of them amongst all the other big shit i have .. it was funny to see him with a big smile picking it up , it was an adult moment making a grown ass man smile by handing him a toy ..
I wouldnt mind them making the raider , haslab probably ,real working tracks that thing would be sweet kit it out with some weapons storage and some real world weapon systems it doesnt need to split in to 2 vehicles either .. anyone here like the raider .. I got one of those for my son when he was about seven it was his favorite tank besides the hiss ..
