Found a bunch of Retro Dukes at a lot of my Walmarts.
At the Targets. . . .a bunch of Retro Recondos and Road block Tripwire 2 packs. No Tiger Paws or Exclusive shock waves anymore.

Bit of a random question.. but does anyone know if that Tiger Force Snake Eyes and Beach Head 2 pack on the Chinese Gi Joe Special Missions website is a custom piece (as it kinda looks painted).
I just thought i'd ask in case it was part of Super 7's new O-ring line. It made me try to look it up and in the process I found some better pics of Super 7's Reaction Tiger Force Snake Eyes and I can see it has more Green on it that I realised before. I honestly don't know what I think of that Snakes Eyes colour. I think I would likely likely far more if it was more similar to Wreckage or Dusty than the Yellow. But at the same time if they are operating in a Desert (rather than a Jungle) on a specific mission it isn't a terrible choice of outfit... But for Jungles it is teeny bit well "silly". But I think I tend to headcanon that Tiger Force is just Gi Joe's Special Forces for any operation that isn't at night (LOL). ////// Thinking about Tiger Force and the slight awkwardness its caused itself due to haslabs. I can see how there is a small amount of Wiggle Room to make a Retro Hiss Tank or a Retro Dragonfly by undoing some of the design Changes. But that doesn't seem to be so much of the case with the Rattler if they wanted to even make a Tiger Rat out of it I think they'd just have to give it a long time and hope by the time they do make it no one will complain to hard about the damage to the item's "Exclusivity". I think there is more room to redo the Dragonfly though considering they actively changed that to be less accurate so the Tiger Fly could just undo those changes and paint it yellow and then once people got over any hissy fits about it they can use that adjusted mould to make a Retro-Dragonfly. Unless a retro hiss which would likely be worse.. the most they might do to a Retro Dragonfly is gut some accessories or features a bit. If they did do a Retro Dragonfly for Classified Scale I would likely retroactively consider the Haslab one to be Nightforce (because of the slight design changes, darker green, black accent panel on upward facing surfaces and yellow horizontal control surfaces it has). |

A Classified WHALE would be huge. It's essentially the largest item they'd make. I feel a Classified Skystriker would be too large to be useful. But a Classified WHALE, while also being huge, would have more functionality and ability to interact with a number of figures and other vehicles. It would also likely be $600. So yeah...I don't think we're getting it any time soon. Maybe they can lose the little scout sled which shoots out of it. Would its loss bother anyone? I think it should have the sled, the bike and the ability to float. If any of those three things get left out, personally I'll think it's missing a part of what made it special back in the mid '80s. I also realize I am biased since it was a fav of mine growing up. Someone who never had one may not feel as strongly about losing any of those feafures. I think he met have been referring to the 2nd new sculpt of Low-Light from 1991 and not his actual 2nd version.

It does seam to say Mauler when zooming in. I'd be surprised if next year's HasLab is anything else.

Regarding Whale HASLAB figure tiers: I like the obvious Cutter vhoice, as well as the sweater and watch cap version of Shipwreck as a second, but I think another choice that is being overlooked would be Keel Haul. He is nautical and naturally won't be released with a Flagg, and this would be the biggest nautical vehicle they release.
I think a generic green shirt naval equivalent Joe, outfitted in the blue USN dungarees uniform with white cap would be an awesome last troop-builder style fig (that could get repacked later as well). It's a dated but classic look for US naval forces. Cutter (obviously) Tracker Topside Rampart I feel like the Whale is a big "defend the coast" vehicle, and these dudes would pretty much be perfect, and aside from Cutter are all relatively deep cuts that no one should be like "I'm not waiting for that HasLab to get [name here]" They've given several hints that the Mauler or Mobat is next year's HasLab, I'd be absolutely shocked if they went in any other direction at this point.

How eccentric would it be if Hasbro did a Mauler as the Haslab for 2025 but also decided to just release an MBT for under $225.00 to retail too ?
Might it undermine mine the entire process. I guess a 1/12th Tank is tricky to get right they are often to small or missing features. On advantage of a Hasbro Pulse exclusive or Retail MBT is we could reasonably expect to get a Cobra CAT or CAT II as well and they are one of the main Crimson Guard ground vehicles. I just can't see a reason to not do it though what with the $300ish Fortress Maximus Reissue sprouting like flowers on collectable webstores this week. That we are arguing over something as Mundane as a MBT seems kinda silly. Especially with the ridiculous number of 1/12th Scale Batmobiles around. /////// I do wonder though maybe my idea of a premium Model Kit for 1/12th Gi Joe would work for Gi Joe if it works for Batman ? https://www.bombusbee.net/modoking-t...les-p8305.html |

Same actually. Was hoping for a new head Retro Cover Girl and a different version of Shipwreck besides just Cracker Jack uniform.

I think someone's following the HasLab poll here. The HISS and Rattler were the top I believe and Mauler was up there. Name dropping it on the Rattler itself really gives it away.

I think Hasbro intended Field Edition Roadblock to be "their version" of Roadblock Version 2. Just like they considered Snake Eyes 00 to be their version of Snake Eyes Version 2.
There is always the ONE-12 version as an option though. If someone just wanted something to wrap the snake around.. I've seen some doing that and it works well. Personally there is a reason I wouldn't mind to much it might get us some butch pinless arms (finally). But personally i'd rather have Roadblock Version 4 or 5 that one that is so like the one I already have. That would feel like they already did with heavy Roadblock and TF Roadblock being as similar as they are. I get why some want this stuff in their quest for the perfect version of onscreen characters... but for me it feels like "I already have Roadblock at home". |
