I've never understood why he even has an area of his backpack to hold this specific type of landmine in the first place.

Presumably, these aren't actually Tripwire's mines. He doesn't lay his own mines - he finds and removes mines placed by enemies. I guess Cobra only uses one regulation type of landmine and so Tripwire can have a specially designed area of his backpack to store the ones he finds?

As a kid, I just said he was a guy who set mines but was also the Joe who was looking for them. So he did both. With the classified figure, the backpack definitely seems like it's designed to magnetically or electronically disarm mines. And I think that's pretty cool.

I?d hope they enlarge that area to hold a Ram (minus side car), Maybe a rack of kayaks and Manta wind surfers. Ditch the launching sled & have the interior big enough to house a VAMP.

Yeah , as i was posting that i thought about the conversation my dad & i had back in the day when trip came out .. he said basically the same thing he stores what he finds .




Also that a good idea for the vamp to go inside if it maybe some manta wind surfers or r&r?s surfboard or room for a ram on the back or 2 for that matter
