Late to the party today, but trying to understand how the Skystriker being 4 Dragonflies wide is only "slightly bigger". I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say it's only 3 dragonflies wide with the wings closed.
Not sure if it's just my eyes or what, but I dunno how anyone could look at all those vehicles and think the Skystriker is only slightly bigger at 1/12 scale. It's significantly longer and wider than even the Rattler which LOTS of people are already nervous about being too big to display. If the next Haslab is another aircraft that holds two characters but takes up the space of a bedroom dresser, I'm out. It doesn't matter how cool that thing is, I'm out. |

The engine covers are removable on the original 3.75" scale one.
https://www.3djoes.com/dragonfly-xh-1.html There is removable engine cover and canon access plates on the Classified one : https://www.hasbropulse.com/product/...xh1/F92555S00? There was 24,761 Backers on the Dragonfly incidentally. I knew they were on the og i had that and i had bought the locust for my son when it was new .. but its been 14 years since ive held it . I thought the haslab did as well but last time I looked at its Page was last year. So thanks again and i think that reenforces my ideas of how im going to display/showcase both of them .

To each his own and people can do whatever they want with whatever they purchase. But I think I'd be getting Timmy a $30 Tonka truck for the yard waaay before a $300 limited collectible. And he'd probably have more fun with that. lol

When's the Stinger shipping? It's September on Pulse so I'm guessing other would follow then.

The Skystriker would take up about the same real estate and volume or space as a 40-45" tv does when the wings are extended out. It would be BIG and I think a bit bigger than the WHALE in terms of width and length (the WHALE is a bit taller though overall). A Classified WHALE would roughly be 32" long, 20" wide and 14" at the highest point. A Classified Skystriker would probably be around 40" long and 36" wide. Not sure on the height though. Maybe 8-12" for the fuselage and cockpit and closer to 14-16" where the tail fins are?

Congrats! Mine is still back ordered!
Once a man COCO arrived today! I have wanted this in figure form since 1987! And he does not disappoint! I love everything about this figure! If I was a kid he would probably have been my default Commander figure! He is that good! Right now he is my definite figure of the year. I can not put him down! |
