Its so hard to gauge the price to me the ferret is a better deal than the hms is ,by weight alone they are close but part count is a different thing in itself .

For them to make a Skyhawk/firebat/sharc/armadillo/even the devil fish they would be about the size of the classified vamp . In length @ least some even wider like the sharc..

I do think your $55 price point is close

IMO if the snowcat/thundermachine/havoc were made in classified they will be $150

The stun/awestriker/wolf will be $100 or @ least should be .

I really think the polar battle bear and the devilfish will be coming in @ about the same length/size .

The mamba feels a bit bigger/longer and with 2 rotors/blades . Like i said its hard to gauge how they will price stuff and this is just one persons opinion here .

From what I can tell, the Rattler is definitely squished from its RAH proportions. It's most obvious from the top down view where you can see the fuselage looks stubbier and the wings are thinner and shorter than a direct upscale. It is less obvious from the promo photos, but when they show the top-down it stands out. Empirically, the RAH Rattler's wingspan was about an inch greater than its length. The Classified Rattler inverts that formula (likely to reduce footprint). It gave me the feeling of "something is not quite right" when the HasLab was revealed and the wings still look small to me, but looking at the promo shots and hearing the in-person reports, I was satisfied it won't be a dealbreaker for me.

So, Classified is willing to play with scale a bit. But, there is a limit of when a vehicle stops passing the eye test. The RAH Skystriker is already heavily squished from a true 1:18 scale, so how much more can you squish it without it looking ridiculous? Even a direct upscale from RAH probably pushes 40" x 40" (wings spread) and the only "play space" is the cockpit and the missile mounts. They could possibly add engine covers to draw attention to the rear of the plane, but almost all the "action" is in the front quarter and the rest is just non-interactive space. Which is the general problem with aircraft. Land and sea vehicles have a much greater percentage of interactive surface.

So, as much as the Skystriker is a top 5 G.I. Joe iconic vehicle, I am not sure it really works at 1:12 scale. The Conquest is far less iconic, but if the Joes need a jet, it might be the better choice. Personally, I hope after the Rattler they step away from aircraft because, at this scale, I'd rather have large vehicles that can display multiple figures on, in, or around them.

Yep, in comparison with ARAH ratller there were some reductions to the proportions. I doubt it will be very noticeable on display. I've yet to hear anyone who's seen it in person have any complaints so I'm not worried about it.

I think they might be better served to not just try to force things into 2 price points for $100+ But rather just have several.
You wouldn't want a toy compromised horribly for the sake of an extra $10 on the $100 price just because the next sku was closer $200

A Stun is a good example of that I get the impression that they'd compromise it into mediocrity at $100 but at $130 I can see it really being made a lot better than the original with those little design tweaks it could benefit from like suspension, a tow hook and a lot more mobility on the gun pod articulation than the original had.

I am ANTI-MOVIE CHUCKLES. He was the most poorly represented character in the movie and that scene alone was the worst. I love crazy and ridiculous as much as the next person, and love COBRA-LA, but I hated this version of Chuckles.

Honestly, if they aren't Haslabs, the Sky Sharc, Mudfighter, and Skyhawk should be up next for something to combat the Rattler.

Then a Firebat and AVAC to be support for the Rattler.

I've often wondered if Chuckles (animated version) was originally intended to be a silent character since he has no lines in the movie. He speaks in the comics but I never understood why he was the one rawhide in the movie that had no lines. And with a name that is a verb describing a verbal action, it really makes me wonder.

Its okay we can still be friends .. chuckles sucked in the movie but much later on in the comics he was turned into a bad ass

The skystriker is doable why wouldnt be is what i ask myself whenever someone posts about it being too big the sail barge is ginormous and people talk about the SS being too large or even the night raven the khetanna is super long and wider/taller than people think it is .i dont think the SS or the NR are too big i dont think they are too big enough 4 ft by 3ft plenty big and the night raven wouldnt be any wider just longer .

Now if the make the SS for a haslab im hoping they ?hasbro? or someone else makes a stand where you can do the OG topgun mig scene of them flying looking @ each other right before the bird is given .. the rattler and the skystriker in that flight pose yep , i want it ..
