I really hope that Cesspool isn't part of any Haslab..It really sucks that Wild Weasel and Wild Bill were part of Haslabs because people who don't partake in them may never get those 2 figures..unless they pay scalper prices for them..Hasbro should release them for the one's who don't have to have the vehicles to enjoy the figures.

I don't think it is impossible that they'd do Dreadnok Ground Assault at some point. But Motorcycles would be nice too.
I am not strong or weak on the who whole green Dreadnok vehicle think, I think it likely works better when they is a bunch of them to complement each other though. Since people keep saying they want a colour change Zaranna and a Colour Change Zandar perhaps they could be vehicle drivers or part of a giftset with an alternative Zartan and Swamp skier (not that I think we need another version 1 based Zartan - the punk one or the Desert one would be better). I guess Heartwrencher could come with Zartan's vehicle in a pinch though. |

If I hadn't gotten slammed by pre-orders last year I'd have bought two Dragonflys just for two Glendas. |

Well, to be fair, them doing that sells some Haslabs probably. I have no space for the Rattler and it will probably live in it's box in perpetuity. But for the price it's probably cheaper or just as much than me ordering Wild Weasel and Baroness separately. So they sold me a Rattler.

I don't see "many people" hating Cesspool. Quite the opposite, actually, with several eagerly anticipating his release. Plus you have to keep in mind those who didn't collect the vintage ARAH, who'll likely pick him up if he turns out badass (which he likely will).
I'd probably get those as well. I considered getting them in the Club Convention set.

The eco-warriors subset was a pretty darn good one in the ARAH line. I don't care for the water squirting action (though I know why Hasbro did it at the time) but the actual figures themselves are pretty good ones with the Toxo-Viper, Ozone, Clean Sweep, Cesspool, Sludge Viper, Toxo-Zombie, Deep Six and Barbecue.

Regarding a Haslab Joe tank. I feel like a Snow Cat may be more interesting than a tank. I love the Mauler, but I feel a tank is going to be too large and not very playable. Something like the Snow Cat may potentially have more features and use to it. Granted, arctic stuff probably sells less than other colorways, but the Snow Cat is quite unique to the brand and very prevalent in a lot of the cartoons.
For Joe planes, I'd prefer a Conquest to a Skystriker. Yes, there's more longevity and exposure for the Skystriker, but a Classified one would be too large and not very playable. A Conquest is unique to the brand and did have some cartoon representation. And it's more manageable sizewise. For those saying, something non-Haslab won't work. We just don't know this. We have people proclaim they're selling their collection, because they couldn't get OAMCC. We have people swearing they won't support a Rattler, which ends up funding in only a day. There's all kinds of histrionics with Joe (and other brand) fans. The Classified line is bringing in all kinds of old and new fans. Not everyone favors only 82-87. I think it would be interesting to see something new or an amalgamation. If a project looks cool and has some interesting tiers, it's very possible it would still succeed. Stumbled upon this repaint from years back. A green Snow Cat renamed the HAVOC 2. Kinda interesting. I'm not saying this is what they should make, but I think it looks cool. Imagine some of the green parts are also available in white as a tier. Could be cool way to get people to buy multiples. And gets over the (Snow) CAT is only for arctic play. |

Does 'plastic volume' really play into costs that much? I would think 'numbers of molds' / 'complication of construction' / 'paint aps would be bigger factors. I'd bet a heavy duty 30 gallon tote contains more plastic than the VAMP... but it's not nearly as much fun to play with.

Instead of a Haslab tank, what about an APC? For RAH purists, there's really only the 83 APC or the Warthog. What if the Classified team makes something more akin the a M2 Bradley or Stryker? Not exactly either for a number of reasons (licensing being one) but makes their own unique design. A Joe APC which can hold 3 or 4 figures in the back. A driver. And someone in a gunner turret. Optional weapons for the turret (guns, missiles, laser cannon). I think if it looks cool, people would support it. Maybe not for next year, but I think it's something worth considering. It would have more play value than a straight-up tank.
