The Night Raven could be made store-able enough just make it have a separation point behind the entrance & maybe make the wings slide on an off you have to easily handleable chunks then compared to the Skystriker anyway.
The Z25 Condor has a degree of storability too - due to being designed to come to pieces.

But that is perhaps a vehicle to consider for the longer term and only after they have done the Mamba & Hurricane 1st.

G.I. Joe still has a lot of HasLab mileage. Seeing the discusion back and forth, it may be none of the Joe tank options are good, even it would be the logical next step. People seem pretty divided on the MOBAT or Mauler, what features it should have, and how much redesign they could do. I would also point out neither vehicle was really all that prominent in the comics or toys, getting a couple of feature issues/episodes at best. And, really, both are just generic tanks that don't scream G.I. Joe when you look at them.

Personally, I'd give strong consideration to if the WHALE would be viable. It was heavily featured in the cartoon, is unique to G.I. Joe, and doubles as a playset/display piece for up to a dozen figures (depending on design). The size would, however, be a challenge. I think both the WHALE and MORAY might be better bets than a tank at this point if they can make the logistics work.

In terms of what is left out there that feels like a HasLab to me: WHALE, MORAY, MOBAT, Mauler, Conquest, Havoc, Mamba, DEMON (if supported by the Despoiler and A.G.P. -- either in the HasLab or as previous mainline releases).

And there are also the ones that are outside of what I think is viable size even if they would be iconic enough: Skystriker, Night Raven, Headquarters Command Center, Tomahawk

Agree gi joe also doesn?t have to pay for royalties. So that is a huge help.

Agree also moray and whale are iconic and would definitely fund. Also, a few other posters were talking about the snowcat. Warming up to that as it?s a more interesting vehicle than the mobat and possibly the mauler unless they update it a bit. I don?t see them doing a tomohawk until waaay further down the road.

This line is cleaning up for Hasbro. I can?t see them stopping the haslabs. They just need to keep executing. 3/3 on the classified so far. As long as they do 4 figures and no more patches as a tier they should be fine.


I worried that they released over 100 figures the last two years and hope collectors don?t get fatigue from that. I will assume hasbro knows what they are doing.

Regarding OAMCC, I got mine late Tuesday night/early Wed AM last week (it was around midnight PST) and haven't gotten charged yet or received any notifications. So it seems like they are waiting for more stock to trickle in before charging more people perhaps?

It does not appear like they run too deep of an experiment. That seems to be the entire point of the focus groups. So, they don't offer up something most of the fans have no interest in. They tweak the overall look of classic vehicles to pull them forward. But that's where the experiment seems to end. They need the thing to fund. In order to fund it needs to be something that is recognizable to a very large segment of the fandom. And something they want to back. The development of the campaign and design of the vehicles is very labor intensive. After the launch they spend over a year managing the product development separately from the Classified line proper.
