The original MOBAT is based on the MBT 70, a tank that was developed in the 60's. I do think it's ok to update it slightly to better match some of the technological developments with tanks that have occurred since then. Legends did more modern takes on the Sentinels (specifically House of X) and Galactus (though his design isn't as different) which I think served the customer better than doing pure classic designs and let them work better at the size their size.

I don't think we're better off as customers if the Haslab MOBAT needed to pass the squint test by keeping a short barrel or the inability for figures to fully sit in it.

Like when World of Tanks put the MOBAT in the game, they made changes to the design. Does it not pass the squint test:




I am also still pro and amalgamation tank but that doesn't seem to sell here.

The Arctic Vamp is really pretty

If nothing else this gets me wondering what this sort of windscreen would look like on a Classified VAMP : https://www.yojoe.com/sigma6/mission.../nightopsvamp/

If they just rejigged a Stinger and called it an Arctic Vamp it would be fine.. but it would rob us of an Arctic Stinger.. but what if they put a new roof, new back end cover, new (bigger) missile box new snow tires and rear treads and put the extended windscreen on the existing mould as a half way house to the Sigma 6 version ? & if they are very clever give it the snow plow *and make it also able to fit on any future Snow cat too*.

Heck if they changed the undertray too they could fit in a piece between the upper and lower body to widen the wheel arches to better accomodate the giants snow wheels and treads.

The Sigma 6 'Mission Avalanche' vehicle is actually rather nice too as a possible left field choice as it has proper seating for 2 and a decent weapon.

Literally everything youre saying tonight resonates with me , and while youre talking about the stinger why not make it a 4 door like the ME Vamp , give it the track add on options that way you can have it with tires or tracks i think a 4 door stinger with a hatch/trunk would be a great troop transport just have the missile launcher on top of it and make storage lockers in the side compartments of the trunk/hatch . You could have multiple extras to it have tires and skis for the front and have tracks in the back or tracks all the way around or tires , make them interchangeable btwn vamp/versions .

The new Videogame Stinger appears to be a bigger longer vehicle. Kinda reminds me of the redesigned 4" line's VAMP only with the rollcage all covered over. No idea where they got the reference material from.
But it looks like the Classified Stingers Older brother.

If Gi Joe was taking real world inspiration still there is plenty of APC and medium/light armoured vehicles that would work well as a "Stinger II" or an APC version of the VAMP lineage too I expect.

That is the sort of thing I'd like they to dip a toe in the water with if we ever get the modern mini line I keep begging for.

If we ever do get an Arctic HISS, I actually would like it to substantially tweaked in the general direction of the World of Tanks Arctic Hiss..

That redesign is super neat.

The only minor fiddling i'd want to the existing hiss to do that is use the Helicopter style cockpit class (not the retro), keep the existing guns and add a top hatch and a series of missiles (I don't care if they are a couple of Vamp II rocket boxes mounted side ways or the existing missiles or the Stinger's Missiles with new mounts moved to the top.

The reason being that I'd want the sides to have large cages mounted along the side for reactive armour or cargo.
Ideally if they are clever they'd make them wide enough and deep enough to have infantry hold on there or to store a CLAW or small motorcycle either side on the racks.

Also if they ever make any accessory sets like bivouacs or tents, Snow Serpent Parachute packs, arctic camo throws those could got there too.

Basically you'd be unlocking a lot of play potential by only very slightly altering the existing Hiss.

They could in theory fit a small vehicle or drone in the back too
(maybe one of those little multi-wheel squad assistance vehicles)

They other small "tweak" I'd want is the removal (or repositioning to the back hatch) of the weapon rack and replacement with a screen and installing 2 folding seats instead of one.

They could even put a door inside the rear door that opens up to store weapons inside the tail gate too.

I'd like to keep the electronics is possible but change all the inlays to blue.

Well the design they showed for the inside of the back of the hiss is a bit different than what we got , i want 2 seats a computer screen or 4 and a smaller weapons rack even though it looks good with the range vipers LMG?s filling up the racks currently , i want a larger staging area weapons storage mini command center inside a vehicle short of a semi trailer or storage container scaled to classified

This morning the D23 stuff went up on Disney’s shop site. I was curious what a drop like this would be like compared to a Pulse drop. I know it’s apples and oranges really.

It started at 11am, I could not get to it right at 11:00 but at 11:03 tried and was put in a queue. My spot in line was 56,207. When I would get in I would have had 10 minutes to shop.

It took 21 minutes for me to reach that page. I didn’t get anything and of coarse some things were sold out. I was really just curious.
