I too ordered one of the 22.99 Gnawgahyde's from the Chinese seller on walmart and mine was delivered to an address 7 hours away. Was able to get my refund with no issue.
Also finally got shipping notification for my OAM Cobra Commander. Glad I'm getting it, but I'm still confused on how Hasbro decides what order to fulfill orders. |

Regarding the Snowcat (To Haslab, or not to haslab)..
Sorry if this has been mentioned/asked already...I've been too consumed wondering when Pulse is going to charge me for my OAMCC that I ordered on Monday, August 5th. (Still haven't even been been charged) and my order confirmation email was sent at 10:01am... Glad yours is on the move WilliePete! Is there going to be some kind of $129.99 or $149.99 pricepoint for vehicles moving forward? Has Hasbro mentioned this? It seems to me that the Vamp shows there's a hunger for "mid-size-ish" vehicles and customers are willing to fork out enough to where a product sells-out. Is Hasbro taking this experience and thinking that maybe just going a little bit bigger and a little bit more expensive might just work? I absolutely love the Snowcat and would back it as a Haslab day one. However I'm also wishing Hasbro would give us a Snowcat (and Thunder Machine) with drivers for $130 or $150. That way they could save the Haslabs for larger items like tanks and hovercraft (or hydrofoils!) Sorry if this possibility has been discussed and I just missed it.... |

I have no issue, by the way, with them introducing new things to the line.. but the Haslab should be specifically for us to get 6" versions of our favorite vehicles from the 3 3/4" days (Even if they are updated a bit). The updates to the HISS, Dragonfly, and Rattler are perfect examples of updating but keeping it true to the original. Feels like that is the sweet spot to me. I don't see any justification, what so ever, for Hasbro to crowdfund a generic tank. Other lines can do that. GI Joe should be GI Joe. That's just my take. Slapping a code name on it is not sufficient in my book.

There was a rumor that the Snow Cat and Thundermachine would be via retail/Pulse and at a new pricepoint. We've seen no evidence to support this being a reality. Yet people are still running with it.

Yeah, it's possible it was in the plans at one point and then Hasbro changed their minds and decided they were better fits for HasLabs. It's also possible it's still happening but they may have just pushed the assortment back to 2025 for budget reasons. Also could have been just rumors based on focus groups. Were those two vehicles present in the focus testing last year? I can't remember now.

Obviously I only speak for myself, but there is a 0% chance I would buy a Haslab for a amalgam tank that doesn't look VERY much like something originally from the line. If it's some half measure of blending tanks together.. that's a pass from me. If it's just a real world tank.. that's a pass from me.

Sorry if this is blunt but anybody wishing for anything generic is off their rocker.

Regarding the sizing of the Snow Cat vs HISS. The Classified HISS was certainly sized up from its RAH version. Not just the obvious scale change. But the Classified version was beefed up. Maybe larger to accommodate troops inside and whatnot. I imagine a Classified Snow Cat would be around the same size as the Classified HISS. I don't see it being smaller. The cockpit would presumably fit 2 people inside if consistent with its RAH design, so you're looking at something wider than the HISS. The rear doesn't have to transport troops inside, but its weapon system would be bulkier. They'd likely be roughly the same size. So a Classified Snow Cat would probably have to be a Haslab.
I think a Classified AWE Striker is likely to be in the works. I wonder if it could reduce demand for another run of the VAMP. How many people would prefer an AWE Striker to a VAMP? Or at least be happy with an AWE instead. I'd love the Polar Bear and will gladly take more snow-based Joes. Since vehicles seem to be packed with figures, I think the Polar Bear could be packed with Iceberg. Iceberg didn't originally come with any accessories other than his gun, so he could be an easy pack-in with the Polar Bear. I also wouldn't mind seeing arctic versions of popular characters like Duke and Snake-Eyes. Was a cool aspect to Pursuit of Cobra. I agree about the AWE Striker probably being made soon too. I've got a VAMP, but I'd still like an AWE Striker too. I like your idea for the Polar Battle Bear too. Package Iceberg with it and done. I really want more snow-themed Joes, so bring them on! |

I was never really bothered by many of the far-fetched things in the cartoons, but the Fatal Fluffies are my least favorite of them. I would probably pass on them in the Classified line. I am really looking forward to any and all of the Cobra-La figures coming our way though.

I still think Haslab Versus packs could work if the vehicles were smaller. Snow Cat vs Wolf for instance (Assuming the Snow Cat wasn't upscaled as drastically) The Haslab is usually their version of being risk averse. So far they know that $99 and below price point is not an issue. It'll just be interesting to see if they're willing to test higher price points like $129.99 and $149.99. I think anything more than that is probably Haslab territory. And really $149.99 is a bit of tough pill to swallow but for the right package maybe not an issue. I suspect they'll test higher SKUs at some point or they'll never find out. I'm a bit shocked we don't have any news of something at a higher SKU yet quite honestly. Even some of the obvious repaints haven't been revisted yet like the HMS/MMS. Who knows what PulseCon might bring!
