It was ridiculous but it was the 80?s we had toys that could interact with the tv ?FFS
I know some people dont like cobra la , some people dont like extreme or def ,how about eco cmon who doesnt want a dolphin in classified . Everybody has their thing but people hating on cobra la .. and yes it was a bit of stupid on hasbros part . But that ugly mfer sold out . I personally cant wait for mine he should be here monday .

I cancelled my order of 5 of them that was for people that missed but nobody came forward wanting so i said buy to them i have 2 coming but i kinda of wish i had kept the first order because i really want a bunch of the snake cobra commander half a dozen of them sitting around getting into mischief would make for some cool photo ops with them ..

I will just I am somewhere between dismissive and disinterested in Cobra-La as someone pointed out they kinda screwed up Serpentor's character too.

In short they existing doesn't help the franchise - since it kinda stopped and they just kinda exist as this thing that is there that your not really sure is helpful being there or if it actually causes more problems than it solves.

They are to Gi Joe what Quintessons are to Transformers ; something their respective franchises would be better not having,,, or like the whole Mutant origin Mister Sinister origin idiocy.. something else that would be better not existing.

So will I buy the toys "yes" but likely only when on sale when they are normal releases. & they may all end up just being used with other 6" toys and generic bad guys at the end of the day.

Like Orion Pax just because it existed in the 1980's doesn't mean they should act like anyone should care. Anymore than Gi Joe needs to have a Ghost or Magic in it either.

Agreed .

Sunbow was sunbow . Dic was dic and was not sunbow .
The comic was great i was lucky enough to be able to enjoy both of those when i was young my buddies and i would make up our own sides during the battles we had . Canon wasnt really a thing back then , the toys gave you a physical part and the cartoon/comic gave you some structure for you to build with even though neither of them were ever close to being the same , cmon hawk getting shot in the back dumped off the back of a hiss and left for dead or baroness getting blown up and being in switzerland getting plastic surgery . Sunbow wouldnt/couldnt touch that gritty feel ever .
Silent interlude as a cartoon with sound effects only would be cool though i had always wished for that when i was a kid .
