I think RAGE and perhaps the WOLF have a change of being made as retail releases. They have a lot to get through before they get to the wolf.. The Stun, the Water Moccasin they can just make as normal releases at the Snow cat price point or even VAMP price point (or somewhere between the two). Snowcat is part of the new price sku and so wouldn't need to be a Haslab HAVOC is a tricky one it is iconic but it is also very very silly. There is so many things one would want before it too. Like I said before though modified to carry a broader variety for small vehicles it has a lot more appeal. I can see them doing a Night Raven as with the wings able to fold or be removed and maybe even an ejectable / removable front end it would be much more manageable than a Tomahawk would ever be. I also think the Mamba Helicopter is a good haslab candidate too. (not before a Moray Hydrofoil though & perhaps not before a DEMON) I think a good candidate for a Haslab is something recognisable that doesn't have a ton of repaints. if has a ton of repaints they need to just make it.. in fact it was kinda foolish to not just release the Dragonfly really It may be long but it is not much mass. & they have just like with the Hiss shot themselves in the foot with the repaint potential they lost out on. But that is likely going to keep being a problem... unless they eventually just say screw it and repaint everything as a Pulse con exclusive one the line is on the tail slide. I don't really want to have to wait 5 Years to get an arctic and Crimson Hiss and I don't want them taking up a Haslab slot as they already have the mould. But I understand they need to give them some breathing space.. but they have cause the same darn problem with the Rattler and Dragonfly too both of which could have had repaints. Shame really. But yeah in conclusion anything a bit smaller than the Hiss can be retail so a Rage, a Stun, Thunder Machines, Water Moccasin, Some things fit into that zone where they are desirable but do not need to be a Haslab like the RAGE or heck even the Razorback. One could see the battle Bunker (for example) selling fine as a retail item... but being sneered at as a Haslab as to obscure for wasting a slot on. I expect the Haslab Price will creep up. But there is also swooshability as an issue an X-19 would perhaps be a bit unmanageable - the original was a handful already as it was. |

Yeah, I just don't understand the mindset of not seeing Giant Man as a focal piece for a collection. Also wanted the EoV, but for the price, was expecting either the Phantom Rider w/steed or Ketch Rider w/cycle as unlocks. It was the 40th Anny! That said, happy to now have the Ketch rider and am hoping we see a watered down version of Reyes w/Hell Charger at some point. Phantom Rider's a pipe dream (which is why the HasLab would've been the perfect opportunity for it), but I still want one. lol
Dragon Man... Easy pass for me, but I'm glad that he's being done for everybody who wants one. Hopefully the price is right. As for EoD, making Reyes the focal point was a mistake, IMHO. I think a "40 years of Ghost Rider" pack with Blaze, Ketch, Phantom Rider, and Reyes with their rides would have funded, depending on price point. As for "success" or "win", I think it's like a sports team. Did Giant-Man make it to the playoffs? Sure. Did they win the championship? No. Does that make the season a success? Depends on expectations. That the Legends team didn't have a HasLab to announce at SDCC makes me think corporate was not exactly thrilled about the last two HasLabs either. Maybe I'm jaded from my experience as a corporate drone in my day job, but we are constantly told that meeting yearly goals is the expectation -- we are only praised/rewarded by how much we exceed them. To loop back to G.I. Joe, I think the HasLabs have to be something more than just big. They have to have a certain wow factor. Scale can help that, but I think just making a big vehicle to make a big vehicle will dilute the HasLab brand and result in more "just over the finish line" projects than the buzz around the HISS, Dragonfly, and Rattler. They have to be iconic. They have to have quality and features that other toys just can't offer. Personally, I think there is a lot Classified can do at the VAMP+ price point and would like to see that explored-- not every vehicle needs all the HasLab bells and whistles. I think the SnowCat, for example, is a vehicle that would work fine as a mainline release. The VAMP took a couple months to sell out but once it got into people's hands there was a lot of regret from those who didn't get one. The Stinger also sold out pretty fast despite wider distribution. If they are willing to stretch to the $125-$150 price point, I think they can cover a lot of ground and save HasLabs for truly premium offerings. |

We def need 2 Haslabs a year with a quicker turnaround time. Also, instead of 4 or 5 figures per wave, they should give us 7 figures per wave. I would hate for the world to end soon and we didn't get the figures we all wanted, because people complain about too many preorders.
4-5 for wave and 3-4 waves is more than enough if each figure is done right like 2024. 2 haslabs will never happen as it takes them a long time to develop these and they aren?t cheap. I don?t mind them reusing parts but would like to see more characters released vs repaints of a 6th viper, and 10th bat. |

Random thought: I wonder how many people don't know oamcc comes with a plastic sleeve and throw it away because it's stuck in the shipper box? I just happened to glance inside and saw it shining in there. lol

That was one of the weaker episodes though. I'm biased by the comics so I liked the back story Larry Hama made for the Cobra Commander but the Once A Man figure is cool.
