IMHO Giant Man really didn't feel like Haslab territory at all. I bought it but alot of people complained how stripped down it felt (because they removed the figures due to the EoV fiasco).

We're close to 40 years from the release of the OG Mauler.

Updating it to look a bit more like a modern Tank while still incorporating Joe Tank design language isn't that ludicrous.

If Classified released a a green M1 Abrams and called it as a MOBAT it would still do well. I think a more Apache or even Invictus style Dragonfly still could have done well.

The Snowcat has the problem of not feeling bigger than the HISS when you picture it while the HISS has the advantage of feeling bigger than it is because of it being called a tank.

You know, with the two tier Haslab system being implemented with the Cantina, what about a two tier Classified Haslab?

Say a certain amount for the base item ie the Mauler. Then maybe $100 more for the Equalizer package ie it painted in those colors with a different top. The figures could then be colored in Slaughter's Marauders colors too.

I'd think $100 would cover the extra top plus repaints. Also makes it easier to sell BOTH packages to people who may want both vehicles.

I could see a $175 price point to differentiate the class a bit more from the VAMP and more into Giant Man territory.

I think it would have been a good way to do something like HMS or HISS Fire Squad in retrospect. Make them add on tiers to the Haslab versus being product that is meant to go with it but sold separately.

Nobody who has/had the 1985 Snowcat and the 1983 HISS is saying the HISS "feels bigger". HISS feels bigger than AWE Striker and maybe even the VAMPS, but not over the MOBAT, Mauler or Snowcat.

Not sure the Snowcat has "a problem" ....

I was thinking $200 before but who knows how the minds of the hasbro bean counters work . They need paid as well .


I saw your comment about giant man i have one coming and backed it to support the haslab cause .. is it worth it idk probably not he will be cool bit i wanted all the face plates and me getting 2 wouldnt have helped it very much to get there , after the rancor and the EOV i was worried and i wanted both of those imagine a 24? rancor riding around in your backseat staring @ people and being stared @ ? yes my baby is ugly ? .. move along
